  • @tehatemachine look at them now compared to the R32s age aint nothing but a number homie. 1st: R32s are still standing the only reason they are running like crap is cause they are on the (A)/(C). 2nd: If you noticed the R160s are made out of recycled steel not pure PA Steel. 3rd: the weel span is smaller on the R160s which makes them sound fast and 4th: The TA is running them to the ground so hard that they need AGED cars to replace the R160s (IRONY!!) Thats the reason why old trains rule. >=J

  • Smh they will never beat the R32s. Speed, Power, AC, Body, and Durability is somthing you need in the Nyc Subway system. and these cars don't even come close and the fact that all the tech Including the brain of the train is under the trucks makes them more prone to hitting somthing in the tracks that means. If the BRAIN fucked up then the TRAIN fucked up. Its sad to see historic trains in the subway get replaced by computerized moving trash cans. =/

  • @knucklesp125 still out there

  • @knucklesp125 first off the tracks are kept CLEAN by a night crew that cleans out most trash inside there. SEcond just looking at the engineering done on this. It's fine and sturdy. The other cars are aged and eventually meet the point where the cost of repair exceeds the value of buying new ones. Bart is going through the same process but it will Take YEARS for it to become a reality.

  • Not to be a ball breaker for your well illustrated under carriage video here but if this new Japanese train car that costs $1.5 million "per car" then city either robbed themselves or there isn't such thing as long term quality anymore. I'm only 27 years old and I'm into technology just as much as the next man but something in this world I've noticed do not change for the better. St. Louis cars from the 1960's would have certainly proved whose most durable without the talking annoucements.

  • lot of inaccuracies in that description....
