I am a Military wife. We have been through 4 deployments and my husband is gone again right now. This song touches me deep in my heart. It's exactly how it is ! The pain of knowing it is dangerous out there is the worst. If you don't hear from your husband for one day, you start going crazy. I am so proud of my hubby and all his comrades. This song is really beautiful !!!
@minimums7 Yeah, my brother is in the german Bundeswehr and my husband is in the US Army so i know i have to support them and be thankful they fight for us. I always say thank you to other (german) soldiers i know... they are surprised the most of the time.

My mother is retired CSM and saw the war first hand when it started and now my husband sees this. You keep doing what you do Soldier Hard, inspiring and helping others. Wow...we dont have that support in germany... our guys are fighting bravely down there (often together with the rangers)...but 90% of our folks in germany hate the military :/
Listening to this alot lately!!! We gearing up for our deployment he just got back from fork pope for training. He gone the first week of march again. He just got home in June. I love and hate the army. I hate that they take him so much but love it because this is what he loves and has made his life. He has 5 years till retirement. I don't feel real good about this deployment but I'm praying it's all I can do. I have never had the feeling when he deploys that I have right now. It's scares me!!!

The hardest impact I've seen is to the young widows, barely out of high school and having to deal with being a single parent spawned by tragedy.

My fiancei was killed in 2008 while he was in afghanistan, only snapped out of it a year ago, I started grieving this year finally. @soldierhard1 Thanks I love this song. My husband just got home in July and well he leaves again in January. In 3 years we have litterily been togather 6 months. This will open some eyes because even thou some military wives give us all a bad name cuz they takeing care of they needs with another man there are still us good woman who are on our knees at night praying for his safe return and makeing care packages.All we can do is hold our heads high like everything ok so his mind is clear.

@spartan2590 people do care about us, but the wives are in the back ground and they often get overlooked compared to how people see us. i personally think they dont get enough recognition. the ones that stand by deserve it. especially to those who have multiple deployments and are still with their warrior.
@spartan2590 I agree with you because I am a military mom and my husband is the one who stays at home with the kids and has to watch me leave ever time I have to go and is the one who deals with all that a wife would have to do. I love him so much because he does what most military wife"s have to do when I leave is worry, wait and take care of whats going on at home.

I'd say the cheating is probably equal... My husband is an MP so he has to respond to any domestics and sometimes it's the wife cheating and sometimes it's the soldier... I will say this though.... Usually if the husband is cheating it's because his wife cheated first...two wrong dont make a right though...I dont think anyone should cheat military or not... if you're not happy then leave plain and simple... but more importantly.... @soldierhard1 Thanks I love this song. My husband just got home in July and well he leaves again in January. In 3 years we have litterily been togather 6 months. This will open some eyes because even thou some military wives give us all a bad name cuz they takeing care of they needs with another man there are still us good woman who are on our knees at night praying for his safe return and makeing care packages.All we can do is hold our heads high like everything ok so his mind is clear.

@soldierhard1 Thank you brother for this song.I just returned from my fourth TOD,and I just let my wife listen to this.I had been looking for something like this cause she was with me when i asked my parents to sign permission for me to enter when i turned 17 and she's been with me when i asked to be sent back each time i'm 23 and have achieved alot since the military.And it means so much to see a fellow brother do something like this.

@spartan2590 people do care about us, but the wives are in the back ground and they often get overlooked compared to how people see us. i personally think they dont get enough recognition. the ones that stand by deserve it. especially to those who have multiple deployments and are still with their warrior.

I'd say the cheating is probably equal... My husband is an MP so he has to respond to any domestics and sometimes it's the wife cheating and sometimes it's the soldier... I will say this though.... Usually if the husband is cheating it's because his wife cheated first...two wrong dont make a right though...I dont think anyone should cheat military or not... if you're not happy then leave plain and simple... but more importantly.... I can't believe this song only has 21 thousand views. I know for damn sure that there are many more people and family members and wives that have many more loved ones in the midst of this conflict overseas. There should be more support for our soldiers at war. Let's show more appreciation and support for these people who've made the greatest sacrifices for us sitting on our couches at home.
