What will you be pairing up?

  • This year will be some blizzard, amel, butter, creamsickle and blood reds. I'm pretty stoked!

  • o wow thats cool, more going on than me then, i have 3sexually mature males and only 1 mature female out of 6snakes

  • Very nice, nothing like starting my day with some porn!

  • HAHA yh :)

    Thanks

Great vid man,I'll be getting a corn some day,few months or so. 5*

  • Thanks :)

yh gotta love it lmao... its shame you dont live closer otherwise would sell you a hatchling lol

  • Very nice! Hope you get some sweet babies!

I was wondering, with creamsicles, do you label them as hybrids when selling to be responsible? I thought it was ok with subspecies, but I'm not sure.

  • Thanks mate and hybrids. as corn and rats are now classified as different species not intergrade sub species, so all mine will be labled as for eg, creamsicle het anery (corn x rat hybrid) as there neither pure corn or pure rat.

to get creamsicles you need a amel corn and great plains rat

    cornsnakes are Pantherophis (Elaphe) guttattus.

great Plains are Pantherophis (Elaphe) emoryi.

good question as there quite lot of controversy about it :)

  • Really? I didn't know that. Apparantly some people say it's false, so there must be a huge argument. I heard they're arguing over the pantherophis vs elaphe thing too.

  • well thats taxonimists for ya though lol corns are now pantherophis the elaphe isnt valied no more when talking about corns really. some people may say its false but its the taxonomists that make the decision lol

  • so right. I meant rats in general, and taxonomists are supposedly arguing over it. I don't see why new world rats are pantherophis while asian rats were elaphe, maybe they're unrelated.

  • i have no idea really, im sure they will be all pantherophis sooner or later though lol

  • Right lol!

Hey, I heard pantherophis was actually a rejected old genus that was beaten by elaphe, then it took over elaphe. Is that true?

  • dunno never heard that before lol

  • lol, well I guess the taxonomists will argue over something else eventually.

  • lol yh when they get bored

  • when you incubate corn snake eggs what do u use?

  • hope you get lots of good rootbear rat snakes :D

  • thanks :) dont forget il get creamsicles as well :P

be rootbeer het anery/creamsicle and creamsicles het anery :)
