it's actually a flexible mini-tripod with a binder clip holding two on the legs onto the headstock and the third resting between the machine heads. :D

It's taken me a while (and several prototypes) to get a camera mount right. The others were too unsteady or way too heavy.

I finally just bodged a gorilla-pod type thing and it works fine :0)
