  • what i fell asleep to when i was a teenager. man the quiet storm was the shit!!!!

  • I'm a a 60 year parent of an 18 year old son. I asked him tonight, "What popular music will you remember your high school years by?" He said "There isn't any I would ever want to hear again." Folks, I may sound like an old toot, but we've got a problem. This music, this singing, this choreography, this professional showmanship makes me realize how low we've sunk. Thanks to the Stylistics, the Delphonics, the Spinners, and the many others I haven't mentioned that respected women and humanity.

  • @uspowergrid

Nice parent and child.very good conversation.heartwarming.Thanks for you comment.

  • @uspowergrid YES HOUSTON WE DO HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM , AND IT'S A TRAGIC ONE SMH... GOD HELP THIS NEXT GENERATION W/ LACK OF MUSICAL TASTE SMH...

  • Yes you are right. this is beautiful music. It belonged to a time when people needed hope and a reason to be proud. but if you listen closely there is still talent, soul and giving in modern music. Don't watch for it; listen.

  • @uspowergrid I agree strongly. I'm so glad that I got to grow up with this music.

  • Such nice and respectful men back then I never heard men call women b....hs or hoes in their everyday conversations, or holding their crotch in public like it might fall off if they weren't holding it, they held doors open and they definitely had respect for elderly people; now they dont care what they say or do in front of anyone

  • @dunndebbiedo

this is why ,I reuploaded after having reduced the noise of the sound.

Because I had a lot of splendid comment, I do not delete this fottage.

  • Thank you for your comment

It is as being written in the chapter of the explanation of this footage

  • You're welcome. I hope that your comment was genuine and not just sarcastic.

  • @MsChemicalEngineer

Sarcastic?NO NO NO.They are my all real intentions.

  • I had forgotten how much I missed the Stylistics. I was in High School and my best friend and I loved them. When I graduated, she signed my yearbook with the lyrics to "You Make Me Feel Brand New". The mid to late 70's were a good time to grow up, and I enjoyed the song so much, lots of memories!!!! Thanks for putting it out here!!!

  • @MsChemicalEngineer

Thank you for your comment and your great memory. My pleasure!

  • what a beautiful song i really love it :)

  • @pinoycock

Thank you for your comment. that's right. so beautiful song!

  • These guys were good and I enjoyed them in their day, but there was plenty of cr*p around then as well. Same as today really, and same as that we still have bands like Take That and Blue, so let's not tar all tiday's modern music with the same brush. There's good and bad in every era. But thanks for posting this. Lovely! x

  • I wish ppl would stop coming to these vids and posting ridiculous comments about today's artist...if you don't like today's music/artist, then just stfu and listen to the artists from your era. Just listen to the music you like...that's what it is there and created for. Music doesn't die...so what's really the problem?...EGO!! lol, give it a rest!!

  • Best song ever.

  • The BEST

  • @rodonaghue

    Thank you for your comment.

  • hey you all , these guys were the real deal and maybe just maybe , if the present artist took the time to listen to these guys , then maybe they would be better singers , i grow up listening to these guys and nothing has changed , pure quality love songs , god bless them for paving the way for young artist such as my self .

  • @Richiking100

    Thank you so much!

  • @Richiking100 god yeah... totally beautiful music...total class..m46 Birmingham Uk

  • I thought it was Russel Thompkins Jr. on this particular one also. Not that it makes a difference in the big scheme but just to clear my head because they could be confused rather easily! Still the best sounds ever! That's my way of saying I could be wrong but I think I'm right.

  • not Eddie Holman, it's russel thompkins, Jr. singing.

  • That is some baddazz shite right there, I dont care who you are!!

  • Who said that was Eddie Holman? That is not Eddie Holman.

  • @jimbamboozled

    Of course....?????

  • @jimbamboozled Looks like a young Eddie to me Jim, but then again I may be wrong. I know Eddie sang with these guys and it sure looks like him.

  • they were great performers back then

  • auxcom you idiot, that guy with the great voice is none other than Eddie Holman. You really need to know who you're talking about before you start throwing those dumbass gay comments out there like that. If you did you would know Eddie is a fine person and not gay plus hes probably one of the best vocalist you will ever have the privledge of hearing.

  • @01jgh

Thank you for your comment.I like Eddie, too.

by virtue of him ,”lonely girl" is more famous than "lonely boy".
