hey man what were your mods in this vid? I have the FRPP cams, FRPP intake manifold, Roush CAI, Mac longtubes, and full exhaust with no cats. What do you think I would dyno at? Sorry you sold your car dude
Nice I cant wait to get my Hot Rods installed. I ordered the hot rods, Ford racing 4.10 gears, pypes off-road h-pipe and a Steeda CAI. How much HP do the delete plates usually get?
Hopefully they let me watch the dyno tune session. I want to see how everything sounds installed with the Violators I have on.. probably going to sound like crap on my camera though.
@105jim Cool thanks. I was looking into a single 70mm turbo kit for my Stang but it was going to cost way too much in the end. Figured I would go with a nice lope at idle and a decent kick in power. Hopefully the CAI gets me a nice throttle response. I would of went with LT headers but I got an offroad H-pipe for pretty cheap so Im stuck with the stockers... no real point in going for shortys since they dont bring much power.
Ill post a video on how my car sounds and performs asap.
@Kadorja ok man! yeah wait for the LT's! the other thing i would highly recommend is cnc ported heads. and later on if you want more i'd do meth inj.
a 70mm turbo would have been nuts! but the stock lower end wouldn't be able to handle it if you turned it up all the way. i think blow by was telling me you shouldnt put more than 425 - 450 on the stock internals, but i'm not positive.
what tuner are you using? and who is doing your tuning?
@105jim I ended up ordering a tuner from American Muscle and had their Bama team make me 3 custom tunes. Got two 93 octane tunes and one 87 tune. Its pretty awesome I ended up racing an 04 LS1 GTO and pulled on him pretty hard. Got the vid of that already posted. Right now im waiting on a shaker scoop and MGW shifter. I already got the other mods on... I might do a saleen supershaker in the long run but im waiting for now.
was thinking about getting the BBK LTs with cats, and the new Brenspeed cams. Im also in the process of changing out my IMRC ('09 as well). Did you do the plugs alone when you installed them? wondering what differences you may have noticed. Also, what gears are you running? I have 3.73's with an Alum 1 piece DS. If you havent done those 2 things you should.
@surrealist139 BBR said they were very impressed with the new bbk's so i recommend doing them with high flow cats, thats what im going to switch to from my o/r x. the IMRC plugs made a little horsepower difference but the main difference was in response time. as of now i have the 3.55's but i'm going to switch to 3.7's along with the aluminum ds. but first i want to finish my suspension and brakes. i also suggest blow by's cams. they make good power
@105jim thanks man. i installed the delete plugs. much smoother throttle at lower rpms. i feel more torque. anyway, i ordered the BBK LTs with catted X. gonna go with the brenspeed cam still i think. that should put me around 350rwhp I would hope. no dyno yet. additionally im running stingers, sct with bama 93 race tune, steeda CAI 13k miles
@105jim thanks for the info. just placed an order for the lts with catted x. i cant seem to find any dyno comparisons bbr vs detroit rocker. power is my main goal. are the BBRs drivable enough for a daily driver? how do you like the hot rods? any drivability issues?
@surrealist139 i honostly have no problems with drivability issues with the hot rods, but if power is your main goal i would go with the BBR's. i know a couple that have them and i have not heard them say anything about drivability issues either. and either the brenspeed or the BBR's should but you above 350. the hot rods are a mild cam compared to either of the others, and i'm putting 350 at the ground. let me know what you go with and how it works out man
not to sound like a smart ass but what other things have you done because what you list on the sidebar and here is a lot...and 340rwhp equates to about 400fwhp with the 15% percent loss from drivetrain, which is awesome...just curious what the IMRC delete plugs are???
IMRC delete plugs delete the second set of flaps that act as a second throttle body and that more of a throttle response thing than hp gain. but all i have done to it is what was mentioned in the previous comment and cams. the cams and the dyno tune made a big difference i had 306 rwhp before that. chris at blow by racing did say that my car has had the best reaction to these cams that he has seen tho... iono why tho lol
Oh okay I have the Steeda CMCV deletes and O/R X BBK, FRPP Cold Air, FRPP stingers and AM SCT Tune...just ordered the BBK headers to match and these cams, now just got to find someone to put em in.. I hope I get the same result.....
@105jim hell yeah just hold on to your cash a little longer and the new 3.6 litre will be out. i plan on using a procharger with my set up but i have a forged shortblock from blow by racing and i can push about 800 to the tires

@Kadorja
The delete plates are more for response than hp or tq, and long tube headers plus cats gave me the biggest bump in power out of anything.
I was planning on building a motor and running a kennebell on it. But just sold the car recently due to family plans.
If you need any advice let me know i would be more than happy to help. Just helped a guy with his 700hp build.
