I wish I could time travel to experience this when it first came out. Look at this, and look at the premiere of Dark Knight. It's like two different generations saying the same things about two different Batman movies in two different decades... Batman never dies.
I would love to have been there when the hype of this was around. At that time Batman was a joke thanks to the Adam West series, this movie is what made Batman stand out as a major piece of movie culture and The Dark Knight has this movie to thank.
@TheRcanmeananything Oh absolutely. I mean we can all, and we have, praise The Dark Knight but if it wasn't for the '89 film then Nolan wouldn't have had anything to build upon.
In my opinion Batman(1989) is much better than the dark night.....theres a big difference of time when they were made, so they can't be compare ......
"Batman" is not better than "The Dark Knight", it's Michael Keaton is better than Christian Bale as the Goddamn Batman. *McGrin*

"Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" didn't have a chance against the Bat. I always felt sorry for the kids whose moms took them to that instead.

@SyBabyProductions I love that movie, but I would have totally seen this first.

@user2011rb I'd like to see what Tim Burton would do with the series nowadays but both are great in their own right

Mary Hart's hair looks like it's trying to eat her head.
And lol @ Robert Townsend as a celebrity.
