I'm not sure which one is this, I went to the one in LA where he was signing, but I was late due to LA traffic on friday afternoon, totally missed his live performance. However did get his autograph so the trip was worth it.
I WAS THERE! Lost the autograph though *Sigh* Some douche found it and sold it for 50 bucks on ebay. Luckily he told me he'll be back! ^_^ (Gotta love social networking)
I wish Darren would come to California! How did you even find out about his performance? I would go crazy if I got to see him live! Especially if he did this song, acoustic version is great!
You need to keep an eye on his website MadTurtleSmith, that way you'll know what's happening. It will be a while before he tours again though, he's having this year off.
i think he's trying to say "do i remind you of a part of yourself that you despise" like he does in the chorus, but then he goes on to say "YOU remind me of a part of ME that i despise." i dunno what you want to make of that. whether he means like psychologically or emotionally or whatever.

I was there too! Darren signed 4 cd covers, the poster and the insert to his new cd. We've even chatted on myspace...what a doll.
