@woodcoasterdude It's not a batman clone. It WAS a batman ride at Six Flags New Orleans until it was relocated after hurricane Katrina. The only difference really between Goliath as it is now and as it was as Batman and the other existing ones is that it is reversed on it's footprint so that your riding the same thing as Batman, but in reverse.

I was kinda excited when i saw that Six Flags fiesta Texas had a new coaster...but quickly disappointed when I saw the layout was exactly like Batman's from Six flags Over Texas...AND the same as The Great White from Sea World San Antonio... I mean really folks? really? Do something new and innovative. Waste of time and money.

...No it isnt..Lol...Great White-108 feet tall, 2,562 feet long. Batman The Ride(same layout as Goliath)- 105 feet tall and 2,693. While Batman(Goliath) is oddly longer and Great White is slightly taller, they layouts are pretty much identical. No big difference in the layout. The reasons they probably differ in those catagories is because the plots they were put on were probably different so B&M probably had to make slight changes.

It is 100 ft longer yes! And it is taller b/c the footers are taller look at great white videos and it's low to the ground at the first drop and Goliath is taller off the ground it's 115ft tall!

And their not identical! GOLIATH is a mirror image!

Actually six flags new orleans has been bought by a new park and they are going to add 60 rides plus a water park and a hotel with a monorail going to the park. I live here in New orleans and the park is supposed to open in two years but have yet seen any work being done on it. Its kinda sad to see batman somewhere else.

great white copied Batman coaster. I know becuase batman coaster was around in fiesta texas when i was 3.I went there once back then but im not really into Six flags.I go to Disney every year since 15 yeras ago when i was 1(16 now)I remember them taken it out of fiesta texas when i was , but Great white at sea world came out when i around when i was 5(born:1992, coaster opened:1997).

This ride was removed from New Orleans, not Fiesta Texas. There was a coaster at Fiesta Texas called "Joker's Revenge" that opened in 1996 and was relocated TO Six Flags New Orleans in 2002 (where it still sits today) but it was a standard "sit down" coaster, not an inverted like this one.
