my home town needs to do this...at first they use to jus flood over the snow then they got a smidge smarter and now they use a bobcat to scrape the snow but then they jus use the fire hydrent and flood the place like a pool :P
Hey great video!! was that an in line water heater on the 4 wheeler? is so please message me back on what you exactly used to get hot water onto the ice. i am very interested in making something similar to what you made and could use some help. thank you very much.
this is amazing! :) deserves more views, i drive a real olympia, and it does every for me! you guys must have put in alot of hard work and effort to make that...very proud
Thanks Mark. We changed out the pump to a 5 gal. per minute model and can now do an entire rink in 13 minutes. Plus we added a scraper in front of the brooms made out of old road signs.

That's good because in the video I was surprised you didn't really scrap the ice down enough before you zambonied!
