Since Edwin and Sjoerd talked after his coming out, I really like Sjoerd. he says, that he isn't a fan, but he is okay wiht it. You know...why do I have this feeling that anton might be gay himself and got forced " to be straight' cause of this own dad or something like that. One thing I forgot to mention. Edwin's brother, I really love him. I first thought he was a jerk as his father, but it turns out he is a great human being. Seems like he is wiser than his father in many ways.
We'd all like to believe we know what we'd do in that situation. The truth of the matter is until you are actually faced wtih watching your father, who from all accounts has been a loving reasonable person, going completely nuts and beating up your boyfriend (in this case), you can't really say for sure what you'd do. The lovely romantic answer is jump right in there. Sometimes the truth isn't so black and white or romantic. Sometimes the truth is being scared and in shock.
I feel sorry for Edwin. His father is a big jerk and should not have done what he did. Many wonder why not Edwin responded immediately. He was in complete shock right away, you do not think your father can do something so cruel to you. It was well played by all actors. I am glad that the writers do not end the relationship between D and E because of what happened. Too many series make the mistake and ruining nice couple that way.
Wow, way to be harsh on Edwin everyone. You might all like to say that if that you were you would have jumped in right away, but how many of you really know that? I know if I saw my dad doing something like that it would take me a while to come to my senses (and then probably a few more seconds while I contemplated how much bigger than me he is).

But for them to run into you with your pants down while you know your father does not accept you, can be very shocking and petrifying for the person in question or Edwin in this case. Having lived through a situation like this before (apart from the fighting) I can DEFINATELY understand the implementation of that particular moment for Edwin.

A tongue lashing from Anton upon his discovering them in his office; yes, that would make sense. Anton is dangerous.

We'd all like to believe we know what we'd do in that situation. The truth of the matter is until you are actually faced wtih watching your father, who from all accounts has been a loving reasonable person, going completely nuts and beating up your boyfriend (in this case), you can't really say for sure what you'd do. The lovely romantic answer is jump right in there. Sometimes the truth isn't so black and white or romantic. Sometimes the truth is being scared and in shock.

I feel sorry for Edwin. His father is a big jerk and should not have done what he did. Many wonder why not Edwin responded immediately. He was in complete shock right away, you do not think your father can do something so cruel to you. It was well played by all actors. I am glad that the writers do not end the relationship between D and E because of what happened. Too many series make the mistake and ruining nice couple that way.

But for them to run into you with your pants down while you know your father does not accept you, can be very shocking and petrifying for the person in question or Edwin in this case. Having lived through a situation like this before (apart from the fighting) I can DEFINATELY understand the implementation of that particular moment for Edwin.

They've broken away from the pack of other soaps a LOT. So let them have this one-and wait and see how they handle it.~ So far so good. They were making out in a room, granted it was Anton's medical office but the door was closed. There's simply no rationale that would support holding Lucas responsible for the pummeling he receives. A tongue lashing from Anton upon his discovering them in his office; yes, that would make sense. Anton is dangerous.

ok, so horny teens do a lot of things that are questionable, but you cant blame someone for your own actions. Anton could have reacted differently. Think about it, if Lucas was a girl it that scene wouldnt have turned out like that [of course because Anton is a homophobe]...but he really needs to work on that [somewhere else], because he really couldve killed Lucas.
