not really, because A3 is on the level of Civics, and the sports version of Civic Si Coupe only cost 22k. but A3 has about 15 more HP.

If I were you, I would just get an A4 lol.

but on the bright side, BMW 1 series is 29k and its hell ugly. BMW C class is 31k and it's not fuel efficient.

However, if you really just want a cheap german hatchback, then VW GTI is the right for you, it's only 23k with same HP as A3. But I've never driven any of the car I've just talked about, so it's best if you test drive them yourselves....

Likes: in addition to all I love @ my '07 A3, love new front spoiler treatment, rear light t'ment, new std. features 4 U.S. (but unfortunately, higher $ for friends not wanting leather, other previously-opt. features).

Dis: R8-like front light jewel treatment (can U spell T-A-C-K-Y ?). Same poor Nav system (y not use new Touran NAV system n-stead!). Get better facia/dash & upper door mat'l. treatment, e.g. A4s or '07 BMW 3-series facia vinyl, for otherwise great facia/door design.

New S3: Flat bottom steering wheel as standard. New indents to the bonnet, new alloys and lights... A very nice Car. The Bose upgrade is a must at 400 smackers, driving and music go hand in hand, well when you're not listening to the engine!

I´m sorry to say but your 2006 version is not the same than this facelift version 2009. You can have the lights just like I got those. I went to Audi Store and made a deal to change my old model to the new model with Xenon plus lights..
