I don't agree with this. But the skin industry is a multimillion dollar industry. I love animals as much as any one else i have 2 very nice dogs but I don't agree with peta. They have the right idea about saving the animals but they go about it all wrong. It's a shame.
I'm really surprised how many people are so overly concerned by this, most of these people are probably not even vegetarians yet don't know how cruel the animals have been treated that provide their meat, I think this is fine. It sustains the economy and we are given animals to exploit.

I am a respactable loyar in the us.This year i had a trip to Mallorca which is in Spain and there i stumbeled across a shop selling WHALE meat and and 100%zebra skin carpet right in the open noone took action.So i managed to sue the shop and get the owner in prison but thats all i can do for now,guvermants need to take action

@FakeApology You can live without meat, look at Liv Tyler for instance, she is a vegan, she is pretty and she is healthy, and so there are millions of vegetarians and vegans. We can substitute meat nowadays too.
But of course leather and fur is easier to give up than meat, because meat is involved in social matters like birthdays, barbecue's too. But believe me, it's possible. :)

There is no excuse in this day and age for people in developed countries to wear or use animal skins, there are masses of beautiful alternatives out there that do not use any animal products.

I'm scared of reptiles but they are beautiful creatures that should be protected and admired.This breaks my heart,how can people be so cruel?And we are wondering why all those disasters are happening,but look what we do to mother earth,look how we treat Gods creations.This world makes me sick!!!
Maybe not all.. but probably about 95% since this is the cheapest method. And that's all that matters to these people; money. Also you have to remember the PETA usually investigates the places the generate the majority of products. The ones companies go too more... once again because it's cheap.

I couldn't watch all of this, but I certainly will NEVER buy ANYTHING made from an animal's skin again. I just found lots of good shoes at Payless shoes made from artificial materials.... I will always buy those from now on.

just like eating meat, the use of skins won't stop. humans have been using skins for protection and warmth before and after modernisation. fashion aside, is anyone prepared to force inuits to freeze to death to protect bears? and who's to say a bear's life is any more or less important than a snake's?

In the 80s snakeskin was really big to wear, my Mom wore snakeskin shoes, handbags, etc.. I always felt it was wrong. My Mom is an animal activist now. this really gets the point across. I already was more actively checking if the meat that I eat is 'good' and really trying to cut down on leather. But it seems that leather is even incorporated in inexpensive products. I will never ever buy real fur and this video really inspires me to try harder not to buy leather products and cut down on the meat.

There is no excuse in this day and age for people in developed countries to wear or use animal skins, there are masses of beautiful alternatives out there that do not use any animal products.
Wearing/using animal fur and skins is all ego and showing off, this has got to stop.
If people didn't buy it then there would be no need for this kind of cruelty.

I couldn't watch all of this, but I certainly will NEVER buy ANYTHING made from an animal's skin again. I just found lots of good shoes at Payless shoes made from artificial materials.... I will always buy those from now on.

I'm usually just right peta off as a bunch of nut job extremists, but this brought me to tears. There is absolutely no need for the harvesting of animal skins of any kind, especially when the fakes they make these days are so realistic looking. Anyone that can see this and still go out and by an exotic skin, has no heart. So saddening.......and sickening. Poor reptiles :(

In the 80s snakeskin was really big to wear, my Mom wore snakeskin shoes, handbags, etc.. I always felt it was wrong. My Mom is an animal activist now. this really gets the point across. I already was more actively checking if the meat that I eat is 'good' and really trying to cut down on leather. But it seems that leather is even incorporated in inexpensive products. I will never ever buy real fur and this video really inspires me to try harder not to buy leather products and cut down on the meat.
