I was cycling in the safest place available, its called 'primary position' look it up. Handy especially where there are loads of parked vehicles on your left; check the highway code too, very clear that you must avoid the car door zone.
Why was I taping my ride? Sometimes I tape my rides because its interesting to be able to critique my own riding style, although increasingly its useful to have footage as evidence of eejits like WVM.

I was doing 18-20mph, with parked cars to the left. The highway code is very clear on this, you don't go into the area where car doors will open on you or weave in and out between parked vehicles, as such unpredictable behaviour is dangerous.
There are not two sides to this; its a black and white example of the other guy being in the wrong. You don't overtake and brake in front of someone.
Shouting at cyclists for being on the road is menacing. Stop doing it, you're breaking the law.
I think your comments, dscammell, just highlight the fact that you're probably a pretty poor and/or inexperienced driver -- if you can't negotiate your way safely and calmly around a cyclist, or get frustrated to the point where you have to shout at slower moving vehicles, then I think you should find an alternative to driving or at least treat yourself to some more lessons/anger management treatment
Cyclists and other slow vehicles don't have to move over for you. It's your responsibility to overtake properly, and if you can't you should wait behind, as this driver didn't.
I wonder if you'll have the courage to look up and read highway code rules 163 and 211-215, and compare the reality with your comments?
