Houdini is an amazing app. I tried the demo once but I couldn't make any sense of it and I got thrown off. I knew I couldn't afford it anyway, but I was curious about it.

Now I've got a more in depth idea of what it's worth. This is not for me, but it's a nice tutorial, and shows some core stuff from Houdini.
