It's awesome to see how many people are still in to the Trashmen. The band is now doing a European tour Starting April 17th or 18th. It seems they have touched a new generation and Im proud to call Bob my dad! :)

I have to say these guys still rock. I met Bob Reed (the bassist) at a battle of the bands in Apple Valley MN. I have to admit I didn't really get into the Trashmen until I met Bob and his son (who played bass in my old alt-rock band and plays bass in my new speed metal band) But it made my day when he congratulated us on our win.

They gave America the bird!

Just a comment to set the record straight--Tony Andreasson is singing here, and he does an admirable job, but he didn't sing on the hit record. That was the original drummer, Steve Wahrer, who died of (gulp) throat cancer. The group plays now with the three original guys and Tony's brother on drums, and as you can see by the video, they pretty much sound like the group did back in the 60s!
