Somebody said Karen at times sounds a little like Siouxsie Sioux. I too have thought that , but just hints of sounding Sioux-esque, 'cause K.O.'s not a mere mimick or clone of anybody!

All singers have their influences, but Karen's voice and singing style are so distinctive, you know it's her right away.

As for Sioux herself, I hear more Marc Bolan influence in her singing than any other influence. She's made no secret Bolan's

always been one her faves (plus Iggy, .Jim Morrison...)

It's aspects of her singing I compare to Siouxsie.I'm not thinking so much of her look : black hair/red lipstick ...Gold Lion's a good example of where KO does a Siouxsie-esque thing of ending lines with a quavery vibrato, as Sioux too liked to do. I'm with those saying the more they hear this song the more they dig it! Me too.

Karen's singing's so good, and only gets better, as this song evidences!Catchy music too.Few singers I'd call "exciting" to listen to.

But for me, KO and Sioux are 2!
