I live in vegas and have been on both this and the real gondola ride, and i have to say, the real thing feels so much cooler, you can smell the distinctive Italian air blowing onto your face. This one felt like i was sitting in my car.

I went to venice and Well... the Venetian Las Vegas is more beautiful then when you see it for real ! At venice the water is so dirty and the air smell really bad ! :P Well NICE Hotel :O but .. Venice is a nice city to visit but.. just for 1 day ! :P but it's sure.. this hotel is really fake.. I imagine if you go at this hotel first and after Venice you'll probably be disappointed.. this is my point of view :)

@tretesta As for Dubai, this shows once again that people are looking for fantasy and others willing to give it to those who can not live in luxury perrmanentemente but may do so for several days in a place that has everything to please him, and it is paradoxical to see such a monumental waste and deployment as a tourist attraction while many restrictions are handled extremely moralistic.

We went on one of those. :) But the sad thing is, we asked them to sing "Funiculi Funicula" and they said they didn't know it... But then we saw the show where everyone comes out dancing and they sang it! :) There was even a little "Pinocchio" in the show running around. <3 I was happy!

i slept in this hotel for 1 night but it was the venetian at Macau aka Macao. Macau is totally like Las Vegas with the same hotels such as Crown, Hard Rock hotel and much more! i got through into the casino as well and played slot machines when i'm only 14. it was the best experience ever and the best hotel ever in the world even when i live in the gold coast i have never seen a hotel as good as the Venetian!

I thought the Venetian was cold and uninviting. It was alot cozier and much more friendly down by Bellagio and Paris.The Bellagio fountains have it all over the canals!

Vegas has been hurting pretty badly the last couple of years so its definitely more affordable to stay at places like Caesars, Venetian, and Bellagio now. MGM is getting really close to having to file for bankruptcy so you can get a suit there for not all that much.

@michiel987 Yeah, to go to vegas it's not that expensive, 400-500 per week with flight. The hotels are just so huge that they are able to charge little money for hotel rooms. But what gets somewhat expensive is anything that you want to do in vegas like see shows and things like that.
