And freshwater is best for the boat the paint and everything, saltwater overtime will corrode the paint, definitely not good for the engines either (won't matter as much if you have a closed cooling system) end of story

Fountain went bankrupt and a bigger corp. had to pick up his debt. One reason.. since he purchased Baja he raised prices and that drove alot of dealers and buyers away from his Baja product line. Fountian makes a great boat but Baja buyers, like myself, would most likley agree there not worth the inflated list price. This reflects on his sales and situation. Reggie should just have left Baja the way it was and things would have been fine since many Baja owners are loyal.
