The only thing really wrong with aluminum is that it can contain lead. So you would want to purchase only from reputable manufacturers whose product has been tested for this.

@InvisiMan2006 Yes, that is absolutely true, but there is NO correlation between usage of aluminum pans and the cause of Alzheimers. The simple fact is that there is more aluminum in them.

this pan is "safe" what about all the negative info about ALUMINUM? I'm curious about how this can be sold as SAFE yet is basically an aluminum cast pan with ceramic coating. I WANT to believe that this is SAFE but I have my doubts. please prove me wrong. (address the aluminum)

Well here's my opinion! Aluminium is really bad, it is associated with Alseimers, however, this pan I think is probably ok, as it is double coated with a ceramic coating.
If a wire brush can't get through... it should be ok!
