@4482amar Get some silicone sheets. That's what hospitals use for scars. They look like bandaids and you can wear it as long as you want and you can even wear it in the shower.

They only cost like 20 bucks for a pack also.

ok i have umm mildish to severish acne scarring on my face. i bought bio oil exactly four days ago and the second day of using it i was pretty frustrated cuz i felt really nothing but surgery wud fix my skin (idk if im just extremely impatient or if u guys sometimes feel the same way?) but i woke up today and really DID notice subtle eveness of skin tone. the area around my scars was pinkish and very embarassingly noticable. now it definitely did get a bit tanner(color of my skin)

i bought it for my face, I just got it yesturday. I have mostley dry skin and now with winter it will be dryer. I bought it for the purpose to put on at night after i wash my face. I've used the pure vitamin E at night a long time ago and it was helpful.thats what i had planned to get but i ended up picking this up instead. so i hope it will be healpful for me. It's not something i would put on for the day if i was going out or something, but just as a night treatment. I hope it works well

@Heatherbtime if you've used pure vit. e oil, you'll probably find this is very similar, but it doesn't stay as greasy as long, I think. I hope it works for you too :)

@jessyv21 I'm not sure... I'm of the belief that under eye circles are hereditary and there's really nothing I've tried that works for reducing the dark circles.

My frienf had a double masectomy and said that this stuff was rubbish and over priced. Apparently vitamin E oil is much much better and cheaper.

The best thing for new stretch marks (under 6 weeks old) is Retin A cream. But all new stretch marks fade on their own in time.

I tried Bio Oil on my stretch marks daily for 8 months and saw 0 improvement,I was quite annoyed and decided to do some research (this was over 2 years ago). Stretch marks are in the lower layer of skin (Dermis) and not the Epidermis, this is why creams don't work, because they cannot penetrate the dermis. Scars are on the surface, stretch marks aren't.

Great review ... I've used 3 or 4 (large) bottles of Bio Oil and I agree with your review ... I also agree that it would be a great tummy oil for someone who's pregnanty ... and it DOES make your skin REALLY soft. I was using it on my stomach and kept putting my hand under my shirt to rub my tummy, because it felt so nice! :)

@pinkabuki I can't fully answer, since I don't really get acne, but i believe it would help with scarring... the only thing is I'm not sure about clearing up current acne (like blemishes). I did notice that it didn't cause me any breakouts and my skin DID seem to be pretty clear when I was really dedicated to using it. It's one of those things that you sort of have to try out, because everyone's skin is different :)
