  • HOPEFULLY U ENJOY THESE TIPS

  • TIP-MILK OF MAGNESIA improves oil

  • TIP-do not put on concealer that sounds bad but no concealer opens ur pores and attracts more oil in your T zones. With no concealer use revlon full coverage foundation or a full coverage foundation of ur choice and dab a little bit on problem areas.Recomanded to use loose powder not pressed powder its much chunky and KAKY. :D

  • tip-oily skin-"Use a oil free clanser and makeup remover 2 in 1 because it cleanses ur face and takes of makeup without oil."

  • your beautiful !!!

  • your so pretyy!!!!!!!

  • Have you tried milk of magnesia for oily skin? you apply it with a sponge to your face its supposed to work realy well! let me know if u use it! <3

  • What color do you used in the Revlon colorstay foundation?

  • Great video! I have oily skin too and I'm constantly reapplying powder... even when im not yet oily lol But yea I'm gonna stop doing that, it looks way too cakey.

  • OMG I've had the same problems. I'd go to school with my face all clean and washed, and with all my foundation and powder on, and by 2nd period, my face would be REALLY OILY. And some of my friends would notice my blemishes that I tried to cover up due to the fact my face was becoming oily just sliding the base off my face! I would try to put some more powder on, but that made my face worse:(

  • I know this should have been obvious... But I never thought to use the blotting papers! I am going to get some ASAP :) Thank you!

    .x.

  • no i wouldnt do u

  • is the revlon color stay foubdation and good? And do you have to apply pressed powder after applying the foundation?

  • you sound kinda like jlo:)

  • You're gorgeous!

I use 1 ply of facial tissue or toilet tissue to blot with. It's far more economical!

  • Roller papers are awesome too! And way cheap !

  • Elf blotting paper is only a dollar where I live :)

  • milk of magnesia (the original) is the answer. do yourself a favor ladies and try it out. it's cheap and it really works. :)

  • Whenever I was around 13, my face used to be so oily that whenever my bangs sat on my forehead all day my bangs would be completely greasy to the point they looked wet. Somehow I outgrew it. But I noticed that the Clean and Clear Finishes line has a mattifying moisturizer and it works wonders for me!

  • also great for blotting, the brown paper napkins you can get at like Togos and other food places. you can see the oil come off and it works as well as any $10 boscia blotting paper!

  • OMG I love ur make up! it looks amazing!! :)

  • thaaannkkkk yoooouuuu!!!:D very helpful hehe ps your super duper, duper pretty

  • thankkk u soooo much this video helped ALOT:)))) p.s. u r very pretty!!

  • You're so pretty :)

  • what shade so you use in the matte velvet thanks!!

  • i love your bone structure! i wish i had a longer face like that

  • You can actually use toilet seat covers as an oil blotter it's nearly the same thing and is absolutely free!

  • I thought that only fat ppl hav oily skin..because of the fat they hav... but after seing tons of vid in utube, I realized I was wrong!!!

  • @yamilaaveo O.o

  • You are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This was really helpful, thanks!

  • I love the shape of your eyes!! :O you're breathtakingly gorgeous :) I'm so jealous :c -3

  • my blotting papers just took off my makeup :/

  • VERY beautiful. Lucky you! <3

  • omg your gorgeous and you sound like Jennifer Lopez haha

  • my skin WAS oily too PLEASE TRY DERMALOGICA for oily skin it will change your life!!!

  • love your tutorials! do you have any tips for growing out short hair?

  • You're SO beautiful!

  • Milk YES Im on it. Thnx *\o/* cheers

  • Whats a good powder you would say to use, drugstore wise? I use the elf powder now but i was wondering if there was any better ones for oily skin?(: i subbed to :D

  • Do you have a tutorial on the makeup you're wearing here? I love it!!

  • you are sooooo flippin gorgeous <3

    no homo

  • how old are you?

  • there ARE bad blotting papers, the ones that contain mineral oil in them, they work but you're probably not aware of the fact that it contributes to breaking out! thumbs up that she can see!

  • Pure beauty ♥ And your teeth are just amazing(: !!!

  • this is probably a dumb question but when do you set your foundation? I have friends that put powder on before and after they put their foundation on.

  • @michelletwins Haha, if you set your foundation before putting it on, you aren't setting anything!

  • you look like Shailene Woodley

  • thanks for the tips :)

  • great video i subbed please sub bk thx=)

  • wat if u dont use foundation?

  • can i wear jus powder with out foundation ?

  • @Mojitababy6 yeah, just in the areas you need it if you dont want anything full on. xx

  • I LOVE your eyes in this vid! Gorgeous!

  • another product to try is Boots Expert Instant Matte! works good for me.

  • @SoAlli2 Yeah same, nothing worked for me until I tried Milk of Magnesia. I've tried lots of different mattifiers, even expensive ones (waste of money). It seriously works, and it's not expensive. Before you put on your makeup, put some on a cotton pad and rub it on your oily areas. It's the only thing that ever worked for me.

  • @jennyftb83 hey hun i have its pointeless wasted money for nothing

  • @jennyftb83 I'm always scared of foundations because of my oily skin and i break out easily, but i've been using revlon color stay for awhile and it works great for me. I guess it's different for everyone's skin though.

  • Do you use oil control lotion and a primer before putting on your foundation??

  • @msncbuckaroo yes

  • your default profile pic is gorgeous

  • ok i fit ur description of oily skin in the beginning of ur video but my skin also flakes and gets dry at the same time..?/: what is that? heelpp?

  • @KayBearGlam it sounds as though your skin is Oily but dehydrated. I have this skin type. The best thing to do is use a gentle water soluble cleanser, then an oil free moisturiser, and exfoliate about 3 times a week to get rid of any flaking. It also helps if you drink lots of water, and consider getting a humidifier if you are in Air Conditioned or Centrally Heated rooms a lot, and in particular the room you sleep in at night.

  • @loobsy1 I have dehydrated oily skin too, and it really sucks. I'll try and get a humidifier to see if that works... Thanks for the tips!

  • @pixelpanda34 Indeed it really sucks!.I have found using Paula's Choice BHA 2% Liquid after cleansing and before moisturising very helpful to decrease the amount of blackheads and spots I get. It exfoliates inside the pore chemically. And I got a Tresonics Brush (Clarisonic Dupe!) and using this has improved my skin no end. It has taken me years to discover all of this, so I'm glad if it helps you!

  • thanks for sharing! i always want a matte look but hard to achieve :( just want to ask if you know any drugstore products that you can recommend as matte setting powder? thanks!

  • Do u use primer? And if so, do oily skinned girls have to use powder and foundation additionally? i have no idea which order those go in. I usually do primer and if I'm using foundation that day, I follow the primer with my foundation (it's a liquid foundation by Lorac) I've never used a foundation powder or translucent or skin-matching powder of any kind to set my foundation or other make up. Is it necessary to use? Just curious! I was wondering bc you didn't mention primers in your vid.

    Thanx!

  • Your so pretty! Love the eyeliner!

  • Heyaa :)

Do you have any tip for pimple scars and pimple? :/ pls tell if you know any :)

  • 1radash - yes

  • Beautiful and thanks for the advice. I don't know I've always had normal very, very flawless skin. I've never really broken out in my life and now recently at 23 my face is overly oily all the time. I've tiered washing my face twice a day and I don't really wear make up so much, but with all the washing my face is now a bit dry. I just can't stop my breakouts. I've tried everything! I also eat insanely healthy n drink lots of water. Not sure what to do... :(

  • so would tissue paper (like for gift bags) do basically the same thing?? by the way, you are adorable and your make up looks great!

  • thanks for the tips..

im kinda confused..i have oily skin , i use revlon's colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin and on top of that i use revlon's colorstay pressed powder. does using a big amount of powder make it last for a longer time without getting oily or should i just dust it on my face just a lil bit..? does it make a difference?

  • i found this veeery helpul =)) thank you <3

  • photoready is a satin finish foundation...and you have how look on you?

  • You can also use toiler seat covers to plot. It's free and comes in most public restrooms. Except if you are in NY.

  • Strangely enough, what works WONDERS for me is milk of magnesia in my skin, after moisturizing and before foundation. I stay matte for about 4-5 hours.

  • @indierockbunny How do you apply that to your skin? like you would apply a moisturizer?

  • @MsYareliz No! Don't put that much on because then you'll end up all while! :) Actually, what I do is put a very tiny amount on a cotton ball and rub it into just the oiliest parts of my face. Then I put on my foundation and not only does the foundation last all day, but my skin stays mat. I've spend a TON of cash on products that barely helped and this trick costs like 3$. Good luck!

  • @indierockbunny Thanks, this will help me a lot! :)

i tried applying it as if was a moisturizer and then my face looked all ceaky..but it did stay matte. I will try it like you say and hopefully it'll look better. thanks again:)

  • @MsYareliz My pleasure! Let me know if it works out for you!

  • i love ure eyebrows!

  • are you using a liquid eyeliner on your bottom lashline? I can never use liquid eyeliner down there.. it looks too over powering on me!

you look so gorgeous here btw!!!! i'm a big fan!

    -fan from cali =)

  • You're gorgeous & I can't wait to perfect my winged eyeliner after watching your nxt vid!

  • yu cud use paper towels to blot lol works the same instead of wasting $ on little papers

  • @twinkywinky426563 Yeah but I bet the oil just comes back sooner then the blotting paper

  • @twinkywinky426563 thats true

  • Just wondering if you could comment on the use of mineral powders for use on oily skin. I have been using a mineral loose powder foundation, such as bare escentuals mineral powder and am wondering if it may be making my skin more oily. I love using it because the coverage is great and its very quick and easy to use and never looks cakey. Just wondering what your thoughts are....

  • Important! do u have oily hair two? i have oily hair and face.. I HATE IT DX. any tips on hair? :(

  • @FrosttBittenn try using a product on your roots to help soak up the oil like baby powder or a dry shampoo and try not to put alo tof hair produst near your roots i.e. shine serums, hairspray, argan oil or morrocan oil...hope this helped

  • i have oily skin too i hate it!!!!!!!!! >.<

  • tnx

  • what ive found is that u can put baby powder on ur skin and rub it in good and ur pretty much oil free the whole day...i have very oily skin and it works for me! no need to update ur face every 2 hrs!

  • Oily skin is such a pain for me too. But hey girls, look on the bright side; oily skin tends to age a lot slower than dry skin ;)

  • @FrostedDream Really??????? OMG... YAY! :D

U just made my day! haha

  • @AranzaMtz I read that too a few years back, but I already have wrinkles on my forehead and near my nostrils down to my mouth and I'm only 20 years old. I know those are probably expressions wrinkles, but still, it really bothers me plus that I don't even tan cause I have really really pale skin so I avoid being exposed to the sun.

  • @FrostedDream Boy I really hope that´s true 'cuz this oily skin drives me crazy!!!

  • @FrostedDream Yaaaay:P

  • how do you prevent your eye makeup from sliding off your face? that's one of my major problems, I'll have my makeup looking nice when I head off to class but by the middle of the day its all just disappeared and looks greasy

also my eyeliner, no matter what kind I use creates racoon eyes any tips?

  • you remind me of jennifer lopez!:]

  • when you blot the oil, does the foundation come off?

  • the two faced powder has a shimmery gold in it

  • For the most part my face is oily, but I have certain areas like my nose and around my lips that are really dry; so when using an oil control lotion, do I use it on my entire face but avoid those dry areas?

  • Blot paper huh? I have never heard of that!

Thank you so much for sharing, I will definitely try that out! Xx

  • THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!! :D I hate having shiny skin...what a pain. :/

  • I like you alot

  • za cosmetics has an oil blotting powder too, i hav oily skin too n this video has really helped me alot! i've tried the za oil blotting powder n i really like it sooo much, its my 4 compact already. i recommend u trying it 2.

  • have u tried oil blotting powder? i know za cosmetics hav oil blotting papers n powders, but i think mac has an oil blotting powder too

  • I adore you.-3(:

all your makeup videos are so awesome:D

  • omg i used to powder my face every few hours before whenever my face was oily, and i stopped that too. i should invest in blotting papers, but i kinda like my shiny face, it doesnt look dirty, it looks glowy haha

  • One of the more complete videos about Oily Skin, and the best products to reduce breakouts...that I've personally found. You're great! and soo beautiful :)

  • You are the most prettiest girl i have ever seen

  • you are so pretty I love your vids...keep up the amazing work!!!

  • do you have a tutorial for this makeup look your wearing?

  • thanks so much for these tips....i hate my oily skin

where can i buy blotting paper?

  • @jennifermelody19 At sephora, ulta, target, & even nordstrom rack :)

  • u r stunning, love from Poland

  • What about the regular MUFE foundation? The HD one.

  • nice video!!

  • may sound strange but toilet seat covers absorb oil lol free lmao and it works good!

  • @ilovemykids0408 i don't really get it

  • @ilovemykids0408 i realize that when i was working and i wash my face then i dried with toilet paper because i didn't want to wet my shirt, i recomend the white and with a fruit smell on it (after i discovered that i only buy that kind of paper on the store)

  • Okay so if you use oil control moisturizer, do you put a primer on before the foundation? Or just use foundation after the moisturizer?

  • How on earth did you get your own cosmetics line????

  • is the tarte foundation really that good???

  • omfg i thought i was the only one with problems like that!!! thanks for the advice

  • do you have any recommendations for moisterizers and face cleansers to use for oil prone skin?

  • are there any drugstore matte creams? im only 16 and can't really afford to splurge on a high end product...please let me know if there are any inexpensive alternatives!

  • @GirlyGiraffe94 yea i know there is one from Nivea called hydrating matte lotion for around 8-10 dollars, and there might be on from clean and clear that is a bit cheaper. :)

  • @monkeybeans12 thanks! is the nivea one sold in all drugstores? i've never seen or heard of it before but i wanna try it :)

  • @GirlyGiraffe94 yes I haven't really seen it at CVS or Wallgreens, but i have seen it at target and wallmart. you could just like look on their website and see if they have any in stock, it is really popular for some rerason, but that shows that it is a great product!!lol

  • Thankyou ! I hace Oily Skin!

    This Video helped !

  • which do you recommend?

revlon colorstay or rimmel stay matte?

  • can udo a video on how to get rid of blackheads??//

  • has anyone tried smashbox photo finish? does that help skin stay matte?

  • I really like Clarity Blotting Paper which leaves a thin layer of powder on skin.... skin looks fresh n fab! UK Superdrug/Boots

  • Do you ever use shimmery/frosty eye shadows, or do you stay away from them and use only matte/satin eye shadows?

  • I have really oily skin, and I've noticed that NOT using powder actually helps control the oil. It's as if when I use powder, my skin produces more oil...I know it's odd...but just a tip for those who have trouble with oil (but I still use powder for "events" like when I'm wearing more than a normal amount of makeup).

  • @natyanayaki i found that too! i try and use as little foundation-y makeup as possible in general because my face just turns to oil when i wear it it's horrible! When I do wear foundation I use maybelline dream matte mousse.. i'm looking for something else but it does the job ok without a hefty price tag

  • OOps i ment mac prep and prime loose powder lol

  • I use the RVL CS foundation &whn i get home my face is nasty oily i set it wit macs translucant loose powder &still i hate it:( my face wasnt oily the day i used ur foundation primer thoe:) but i give up tryna stop the oil nothing works 4me

  • all expensive so i look for something matte cheap but i have a tip for free blotting paper i use the toilet seat covers in restrooms and it removes oil without ruining my makeup i got this tip from sarah jessica parker in a magazine :)

  • Right now all i can afford is the Revlon Colorstay so i'll definetely be trying that one out! thanks for the tips, i was really looking for a video with this information :]

    xoxo<3

  • thanks for the tips. youre great!!!

  • I have really bad oily skin too!! Thanks for the tip on using the blotting paper....

  • i noticed that wen i blot it kinda rubbs off a lot of my makeup making my skin look uneven with like spots where i blotted :( but hopefully wen i infd the invisible powder that will help me out i cant wait to try it out i use MUFE HD foundation i luv it but it leaves me really oily im dieing to try the nars matte one or even the matte velvet from MUFE so im kinda stuck on which one to get thanks so much for the tips :)

  • I use napkins in my t-zone but if I'm really sweating at work it just wipes off the foundation... Ne suggestions?

  • Great tips!:) I always make sure to have blotting paper with me...I can't live without it..lol.:)

  • great tips! thank you :)

  • i love your makeup!! in this vid pls do a tutorial

  • Do you have any tips on choosing the right coloured foundation for oily skin? I find when I pick a shade matches my skin tone half way through the day when I've started to turn oily it looks the wrong colour :(

  • The right skincare is very important too. For me the Clinique 3-Steps skincare is the only one which controls my oily skin. Plus the MAC Prep and Prime Face Protect 50, the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation and the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. This is the best combination I found for years!!! My skin turned from very oily to combination. It's now almost normal!

  • I agree with your foundation recommendations. I've always had extremely oily skin and fell in love with blotting papers. I've also found that applying a very thin layer of Milk of Magnesia beneath a primer is extremely helpful.

  • Great tips. Thank you. I do exactly what you said not to do - cant wait to try your suggestions.

  • thankyouuuuu xx

  • nice hair

  • can you do a makeup tutorial for the eye look you have here i love the eyeliner
