I was going through some of the comments below and was astonished to see the hatred among people towards to each other from same state. If you can not stand people from same state how can we become Indians. Shame on those people who divide our state. Odisha is one state integrated with many cities, regions. Vande Utkal janani!!!

If we fight for our land , for our rights, its not wrong. I am not against this video but it is not the vid for our people. This vid represents only the ever biased coastal people of orissa. [from the 33 rd min till the end it is Shiba Rath's rendering].... this comment of mine is in response to a comment note the accent!!! it is surprising indeed to see Oriya people are not able to recognize thr own mother tongue as the song has been rendered in a different way to the old pattern of singing!!
nd some politicians who to satisfy their vested interests raise this issue of western orissa being a different state...if our MLAs of western orissa care for our development so much then what have they done till now..not to name many of them have a fixed portfolio in the cabinate.what do they do for us except polishing their own palaces

It was unified effort of all the great people of entire Odisha. Because of our fighting with each other, we have lost Sareikela, Kharsuan in the past and now we are going to loose parts of Gajapati. Please prove that you have given land to the people of western Odisha. Please think before you spit hatred.

Do you think that 7 decades of discrimination shall go away with your slangs? Can you tell me which district has been developed in these 7 decade? Not a single one out of 13 or even 30 districts. I am from Malkangiri or old Koraput district, which was and is the most underdeveloped district of Odisha. I've studied at Rourkela, Bhubaneswar and done job at Bargarh, Boudh, Jeypore. I've traveled and stayed at all districts and found the development picture same everywhere.
