Semi-untethered is a jailbreak tweek for tethered devices so you can reboot your device ect side effects to semi-untethered all other jailbreak tweeks and jailbreak data don't work... hope this helped :D

Go to your desktop and click on the CUSTOM FIRMWARE THAT YOU DOWNLOADED EARLIER. Let it restore. When it is done, click the backup you to want to use. DONE! This is for 2nd Generation v.2.2.1 iTouch. You can see your iTouch version by going to Settings > General > About in your iTouch. I hope I helped!

If you CANNOT SEE the Application Data Folder, DO NOT PANIC. Go on Google and search up how to get your computer to show hidden folders. Install LibUSB and press next. WHEN YOU GET TO THE CREATE FIRMWARE PAGE, IGNORE IT AND CLICK NEXT. On the next page, put your iPod into DSU mode. You can do this by doing these steps:

1. Turn off your iPod.

2. Hold the Power and Home button for 10 seconds.

3. Let go of the power button after 10 seconds, BUT HOLD THE HOME BUTTON FOR 10 MORE SECONDS.

Alright, I'll try to help a few people.

First of all, you have to download both the custom firmware IPSW file and QuickFreedom. DO NOT try to create your own firmware. Once you start it up, click on the jailbreak button. Download all the stuff and if it cannot find your ORIGINAL IPSW FILE (from original iPod), you can find it By Clicking: My Computer > Local Disk > Documents and Settings > (Name Of Account) > Application Data > Apple Computer > iTunes > iPod Software Update. -SEE NEXT POST-

and also. Libusb. if you have vista you need to find libusb on you programs, right click properties and then you need to change the capatibility to windows xp SP2. this will make your computer think it is running on xp but you are really on vista. if this doesnt help, i dunno what will...

just follow the instructions CAREFULLY and the DFU mode instructions are abit bland, but basically when i say put it in DFU mode i mean MAKE SURE YOUR IPOD IS ON and connected, Hold the power button and the home button for 10 seconds, then realease the power button but still hold the home button for another 10 seconds, then it is easy as PIE!
