As I recall, after Powerslave was released, Bruce wanted the next album to go in a more acoustic direction and apparently wrote a whole song or two. However, Bruce's idea was rejected and instead the band started to use synthesizers and released "Somewhere In Time" (which is an excellent album btw). However, ever since I heard about Bruce's idea for an acoustic Maiden album, I always wondered if we'll ever get one. This song shows they'd be FANTASTIC at it. Maybe the next album? :D
