  • whats with the westy on the side are these two owned by a scotsman by any chance?

  • Hi TrainBuff thanks for looking at the vid, Not sure about the 'westy' didn't really give it a thought at the time, its about 3 years ago since I put the vid clip on YouTube. Must try and get out again and add some more. Thanks again Phil

  • very class 37 sounding for a minute there, English Electric?

  • Hellfire 50s! Proper British traction! 5*

  • Hi Woolybak8, thanks for looking.

  • Trucker 965: Answer = No.

There was only one livery for these boys. Large Logo, Black Roof, Red Buffer beams. Laira Style ruled, they looked so much better like that. Not Aquafresh Network Southeast after 86 - ruined them !! Can't believe no-one has replicated Laira colours, though I think they're doing 29 that way. Not even Hornby have bothered to add another model to the line in by far the best variation ever

  • Polina 82: Do 47's have sound?

  • Proper engine!

  • Hi thanks for looking, you are right definately a proper engine. Cheers

  • I know someone who loves the class 50s noise

  • i prefer the sound of a class 47

  • Did they really have the West Highland Terrier motif of the Inverness based locos of old on the side of them.?

  • Hi Trucker965, thanks for looking at the Clip, yes that'a the way it was I hadn't notice to tell you the truth. Chhers Phil

  • How I wish those machines had been in Scotland. I was an avid visitor to Haymarket when there were real trains running around. Now I live in America now, where we have real locos, not DMU's and such, although not interested in the train scene here now.

  • get the railway mags from the shops, these asre allways on the move around gb
