Regarding menstruation, the Old Testament says not just not to have sex during menstruation (which is absolutely logical) but to keep menstruating women cordoned off. -Because we really don't know what he told the other prohets in the sense that the Bible and Torah have been changed and corrupted so much, we don't know what's true and what's not. The Quran has never changed, it only differs in translations.

@shandcunt To answer the question you posted to my channel(why, I don't know): Surah 4:34..o-kay where to begin..Arabic is a very complicated language to translate. The Qu'ran says to "scourge them"..if taken in a literal sense, to whip, someone can draw that conclusion. However, scourge can also mean to scourge one with the tongue, meaning to admonish them. And no, I don't condone physical abuse of anyone in anyway.
@shandcunt To expand on the point I made about the Arabic language; the word 'kafir' which is said to mean the word 'infidel' in its English translation. This is not true, 'kafir' means 'one that is not covered (by God)' in its correct translation. When Arabic is translated, normally whatever ballpark the word is thought to be in is used; rarely is Arabic to English a precise translation. Wife-beating is a cultural aspect, not a universally accepted practice.

Regarding menstruation, the Old Testament says not just not to have sex during menstruation (which is absolutely logical) but to keep menstruating women cordoned off. The Qu'ran says to "scourge them"..if taken in a literal sense, to whip, someone can draw that conclusion. However, scourge can also mean to scourge one with the tongue, meaning to admonish them. And no, I don't condone physical abuse of anyone in anyway.

This is not true, 'kafir' means 'one that is not covered (by God)' in its correct translation. When Arabic is translated, normally whatever ballpark the word is thought to be in is used; rarely is Arabic to English a precise translation. Wife-beating is a cultural aspect, not a universally accepted practice.

First of all, Unlike christianity where a female is her husband's property therefore takes his name, a Muslima [female practicioner of Islam ] does not take a husband's name.Instead she keeps her father's name. What Glen Beck and the like want is for Muslims to appologize for Islam all together and to become like them; people who have forgot God, people who visit casinos, psychics,strip clubs,pop out of cakes,climb poles. Why don't they appologize for columbus to Indians on reservations LOL!

They teach the good treating of all people. friend or enemy. They live their lives morally and do what they think is right. @pmf180 being an American{long before Ellis Island} myself, I have a perfect understanding of Americans'. I live and work amidst Americans especially those who call themselves Christians. I work in the corporate world with people who have MBA's ,401k's and 700 credit scores but are some of the most moraly currupt people on the planet. While I am on a work break prostrating to Allah in an empty conference room these Christians are having drinks at a noon happy hour, read horiscopes,web porn.LOL!

@alaadamy2 That's because Christianity requires 1 Sunday a week at Mass. Ill be the first to admit, Muslims pay more attention to their faith than any other religion. That's great that you pray while other don't. But here's where I have a problem, why do you care what other Americans do with their lives? Set an example and some will follow. Instead of condemning the sinners help them, thats what Christianity teaches. If others sin, pity them, help them. Muslims are not perfect, obviously.

@alaadamy2 They teach it, it doesnt mean it's followed to the utmost extent. We won't give the natives their land back, because it isn't their land. For thousands of years civilizations have taken over that of weaker civilizations. 300 years in the future the Natives who are alive today can't claim right to a land they never had ownership of because they weren't alive. And by the way, good treating of people isn't being nice to the president idiot. disagreeing with the president isnt a bad act.

@alaadamy2 and giving health care out freely is up to the doctor who wants to sit on the side of a road and give people free check ups. It isn't an act of unkindness to vote against taking some peoples money and putting it into the pockets of a person who hasn't worked as hard. Obviously plenty of Christians are bad people, but they aren't fueled by a religion of hate and total control. A person is a person, in Christianity's case it is the better part of a person, in Islam's case it is the bad.
