Im no expert. ERAU Aerospace engineering. 11,400 TT typed on A340-500's. 15 years in the game. Married to another pilot. An average pilot, with my own faults. The air force did release the cockpit communication between the crew, and what happened was this, he banked to tight around the tower, loosing airspeed, than was warned that he was entering a no fly zone, which was a ammo dump, and pulled another tight turn exceeding 80 degrees at well below allowed altitude stalling the aircraft.

In the original video, you can see how insane his flying was, and there were no bird strikes at all.

That was supposed to be a "low pass" at an airshow. It was when fly-by-wire first was introduced by Airbus. The plane's computer was in landing mode but the Captain wanted to over-shoot. The computer won. The software has obviously been updated since then.

what happened was the plane on the bottom was doing a dummy bomb drop test, the plane on the top simply was an observer plane, but the bomb was luckily only filled with concrete when it was released, the plane on the top changed the air stream and actually gave the bomb lift, causing it to fly up and impact the other plane, because of this they have changed the distance on the following or observer planes
