watch this, and stop, look and you can see that the pencils are in ''zig-zag''

Actually, there are four pencils there. The three pencils that have tips are sort of angled straight up, but the erasers are not in alignment. And when you follow them down, you find out that there are two pencils with erasers but without no tip and two pencils with a tip but without erasers.

I'm guessing not everyone can see this illusion, as I don't see any illusion at all. I see three ends and two erasers. The eraser sides fade out toward the middle of the pencil, as do the ends with lead. Only a few of the colors carry over, and the pencils on the opposite sides are flipped in the opposite direction.

It's an interesting image, sure, but I see no illusion. =\

it's an impossible scenario. 3 pencil points on the right that lead to no eraser end on the left and 2 eraser ends on the left that lead to no pencil points. It's an impossible situation meant to drive you mad by trying to figure it out :) That's all. Thanks for watching.

The center of gravity thing is something we learn about in the age of 13-14 so it wasnt anything special really. But it certainly looked better than the same trick made with two forks. I think u know which trick i mean.

I know how it works, so here goes:

The diamonds are in the middle 3 rows are all identical, each diamond have a small gradient which goes from lighter to darker by 5% or so(it cannot be view by normal human eyes). Therefore when they are put in this pattern it seems like they are different, because: the top is lighter than the bottom by bits, which are strong enough to "difference of colors" by your eyes.
