Thank you for uploading this. I haven't been singing in well over a decade and totally forgot where the notes are, so through this piece (and probably many more) I am relearning what I have forgotten so long ago. Thank you so much! :)
Beautiful, but it's sooooo slow! It's supposed to be Adagio, but this feels even slower than Largo! Unless of course I'm not yet too experienced with tempo terms....
Since when is "ɛ" pronounced "ə"? Any other choirs I've heard singing in Latin use pure vowels. No "ə" in Latin. Now, if I'm just ignorant and I don't know what I'm talking about, and this is the way it's really upposed to be pronounced, tell me.
@OfficialAerin Latin is a dead language. You cannot say how it is 'supposed to be' pronounced. I.e.: everyone's doing it right. You might differ between 'italian', 'german' or elsewise latin pronunciation.
@ElisabettaVS Vatican City's official language is Latin. That's not to say they all speak Latin. However, one may assume, based upon the languages descended fom Latin, excluding French, that Latin vowels are pure. They don't have any of that /ə/ nonsense. They have /a/, /e/, /i/, /o/, and /u/. Sometimes /e/ is modified to /ɛ/, and sometimes /o/ is modified to /ɔ/. /ə/ isn't closely related to any of those vowels. Anyway, perhaps you're correct. But if I were the director, I'd use pure vowels.

@CharlieBladeRemus It is on the slow side, but I don't think much slower than intended.

@OfficialAerin Agreed. Unfortunately, not all the directors worry about that...
