Can someone help me where I can get all time best results for boys from 12 to 15 Years old for 3/4 and 5kg hammer?

What was your best when with 13 Years old for 3 and 4Kg Hammer?

12 years old - 62,75 3kg & 54,18 4kg & 41,90 5kg

13 years old - 70,72 3kg & 65,86 4kg & 57,83 5kg

14 years old - 73,43 4kg & 62,97 5kg

15 years old - 85,17 4kg & 77,74 5kg

My best at age 13 was 49,25 3kg on competition, but no 4kg result on competition

I was at Hungary Federation site Yesterday to see some results there.

We have a kid here in Portugal that Yesterday beat Portuguese U13 Boys Record with 55.60 (3kg) it is far away from WR but I think it is a nice result.

@Portugal2100 Don't sweat it. WR means nothing in that age. The Hungarian boy who did all these amazing results ended up with a personal best of 65,22 before he quit, which is more than 20 meters from the world record that really matters - 7,26k WR.

Once u really understand the physics of hammer throwing, u'll appreciate that in realisty you can throw a 7.25kg the same distance as the 3kg - its a matter of understanding - Im lookin forward to seeing u in the olympics one day soon :-)

thanks! just that the counterweight of a 7k hammer is much greater than of a 3k hammer, so you'll need a completely different technique! I know now, when i throw almost the same distance with the 2kg heavier hammer!

TEchnically the weight of the hammer, in the physics of things, is actually neutral ! Beyone the initial inertia the hammer becomes weightless in the throw calculations - ! And with a lil imaginative thinking im sure u can easily rebalance the counter forces for the "non-existent" weight forces :-)

Yes it does BUT the force needed to raise it to that "weight" i.e the velocity at release is transient - as u have put that force into the throw u have already countered the force in normal physics - otherwise ud have fallen over already - think about it ! :-) familiarise urself with the total physics of the throw, the force inputs and balances and ull figure it out in no time - If u can hit 81 with 3g what re the forces involved ? Whats the ratio to the 7.25 ? :-)

You know, I'm having a hard time understanding this "the hammer weighs nothing at all" and english is not my mother tongue so it is hard as it is! Let me get this straight... The ratio to 7,26 is 2,42 but it's still just as weightless as the 3kg? Gotta admit it doesn't make sense! And even if it would, the WR with 7k wouldn't be farther than the 3k! Cmon....

This profile suggest u still in high school - if thats so then ask you Physics teachers about the mechanics and balistics issues -ull see that once the mathematics kicks in - the weight of the object, given an optimum release angle of say 45 degrees, is negligible, it took me a while to accept the concept --- the factors which influence the distance are the agnular release, the height of release and critically the speed of release -the rate of acceleration is perhaps the most critical factor

If the release weight of the hammer is 300 kg at point of release its already there - you have already countered that force as you work towards te point of release - If u look at the full physics of hammer throwing ull see that the weight of the hammer is not all that important given the forces involved - the weight of the hammer is negligible from say 5kgs to 7.25 kgs --- it requires a reater counterweight but if you cant do that then ull be pulled over anyways !

as with anything, It's easier to lift 5kg than 7.26kg. Even thoguh hammer throwing is a technique event, the technique is there for you to be able to use as much force as possible, and when the "what-ever-you-wanna-use-the-f­orce-to" is leighter, it's easier.
