Good job. I had an old coon hunting neighbor when I lived in Nacogdoches, with a 4th grade eudcation, but he could sing every Jimmie Rogers song on my album from memory. I bet he hadn't heard JR in 30 years. Your vid brought back some good memories. My daddy use to sing this song too..... along with all the other Jimmie Rodgers' songs. Your cover is very good. I don't know if you know the history of Rodgers or not but often wen he sang his voice was "trashed" too, so it was somewhat appropriate that you recorded this with a gravely voice.

You've got a great way of delivering songs that just draws a person in and won't let go.
