@TheAtheistAussie i have a thyroid problem and before i was diagnosed, i gained about 100 lbs reaching a scary 220 lbs within only 4 months. i do eat more than the average person, however 100 lbs in 4 months was abnormal. thyroid malfunction can pretty much shut down your metabolism. i'm back to my normal weight now after treatment. shitty food might has contributed to his obesity, but i a lot of health issues are also the cause. also medication such as steroids.
