  • The guy that is working with the camera seems drunk.

  • Parece borracho el que maneja la camara.

  • I have the same tv and macbook and thanks to you I now realise that I had to select "mirror display" in order to se my macbook on the tv, Thanks! A little tip though! Please please please cut to the chase and leave out of the gas & air talk!

  • you need to have a keyboard and mouse plugged in wired if you have not figured it out by now lol

  • i saw some other video,,,,,have all oyur things hooked up to the macbook but unplug the display cable form the mac, then close it and let it sleep, then plug the display in and the macbook should wake up when still closed. then press any key on the external keyboard and the display pops on. it worked in the other vid and though i would share here if anybody still had the problem

  • there actually is a way..... ive done it in accident.... i close the lid and my itunes keeps playing songs....... you can ask a genius by starting there.

  • does this improve the graphics if i have a bad macbook connected to AN HDMI TV?

  • I have boobs.

  • just so you know you can turn the brightness on your mac all the way down until the screen turns off and your display will stay on. i do it all the time. hope that helps

  • clown

  • eres un pendejo con la camara

  • cute ass!!

  • Try closing the screen literally after you press the on button, so it uses it as the primary screen (turn off mirror).

Otherwise close the screen to put it to standby, and wake it with the Apple remote.

I'd change the resolution it's on at the moment though, it's going to damage your eyes and slightly distort picture.

  • to activate the Desktop Mode, the only thing u need to do is to close ur macbook, just hold the menu button in ur iRemote and the Plasma will get the 1st display

  • now if the connection was wireless that would be truly bad ass

  • i believe that the option for what happens when you close the lid is under the power settings or something.

also try connecting your macbook pro up to the tv with a dvi to hdmi cable [you can get them for under £30] and then you can make it a better resilution and in HD.

  • I will try that.

  • wrong

  • I am not 100% sure this works on the Bluetooth but it should Close lid and Click mouse button or try hitting enter on the kb it Should wake up and display on the tv....

  • Hook you macbook pro to your tv before you boot it. When you want to boot it, press the power button then immidiately close the lid.

  • this way is how to do it

  • on my powerbook g4 i can close the laptop and still see it on the lcd by pressing F7(it shows 2 little screens) but i dont know if macbook pros have the same buttons on the keybord..

  • i love entorage

  • easiest way it to close it and use that little remote that your mbp came with....close it and press play or a button on it

  • Man, did you like... just iwn the lottery or something.. before you had jack shit in technology, in just over a month you're in the fricking future with all your stuff.

  • dude i have the sam lcd LG tv

  • start the macbook pro up in desktop mode. Shut it down, connect it to the plasma and then hit the powerbutton and IMEDDITLY close the macbook pro.

  • All you have to do is have an external keyboard and hit a key, and it turns back on.

  • you just have to press a button on the wierliss key board to wake up the mac

  • Another great video man!

  • i love the looks of the macbook still. lol

  • Actually you can close the lid and have the computer working.

You have to have it on power though. Also you need a usb keyboard or mouse to wake the macbook pro. So connect the power, hook up your 42 in display, and attach the USB keyboard. Just by attaching the USB, will wake up the computer... I am using it with projectors and LCD displays, at the office. I see no reason why it should not connect with the Plasma.

  • Hey dude I got Directv 2 lol i saw your remote 2 also you are stinking rich you have a LA COST T Shirts probably cost you like $40-$60

  • its goin to burn a image on your plasma. thats what happend to mine

  • Me again... Jack your resolution all the way up too. I didn't see you do that. When I have my MacBook on the TV in non-desktop mode (MacBook screen open), I have black bars down both sides of the TV screen. When I put it in desktop mode, the TV goes full screen & it looks perfect. Another tip, to make the text & stuff bigger on the TV you have 2 options. Either press "command" plus "+" or hold "control" and use a track wheel to magnify the screen (I have a track wheel on my mouse). Have fun!

  • I have the SAME set up as you except for the mouse (I have the Kensington bluetooth mouse) and I have a 46" LCD. Here's what to do-hook your TV up like you already have, turn your MacBook on, let it boot up completely then close the lid. The screens will shut down. Immediately after the screens shut off, use your Apple remote and click the center play/pause button. This will put it in "desktop mode" and it will do what you want. I think it works best if you keep the power cord plugged in.

  • hopefully you will make some new friends...with boobs. i cracked up at that. nice video.

  • To put it into desktop mode. Turn it off. Then turn it back on and immediately close the lid.

  • click or press any key on keyboard to wake it up. I guess the wireless keyboard wont be given away this time coz u've finally found its use.

  • "Once your computer's Desktop appears on the external display, close the computer's lid.

Once the lid is closed, wake the computer up by either clicking your mouse button or by pressing a key on your keyboard."

    Google, my friend.
