this is when I first seen slightly... It had to be like 1997 or 1998. Paid 5 bucks to see them and skunk records was there selling shirts n stuff.awesome!
that's awesome. i wish i was a little older so i could be a teenager for this time so i can be around when this music was in its prime and i could go to the concerts.. this good music, instead of being a teenager now and having way more than half of the bands I listen to not really be as active anymore.. cause their time was the 90's lol
after the 90's, everything had officially been done. Now There is nothing original that hasnt been done and fully exploited already. Plus the days of people doing shit purely for the art and love are over. I was telling my bro yesterday kids these days don't even know u unless ur on some fucking reality show. I know there are good people but the masses have always been full of shit!
mikey, people were saying that shit in the 90s. keep an open mind. thanks to the internets and myspace, limewire etc musicians have access to fans without all the corporate bullshit. there's always good music being made and creative people in the world. damn you're a negative nancy ;-) soundin like the old baby boomers bitchin about music.. hahah
yeah i used to be worse...i've grown up a lot since then...i don't hate good bands just because theyre popular anymore... ive always been a negative nancy but i am trying to stay positive everyday:)
@ignoulikeit he does have a point. I just watch the sublime doc Stories tales lies and exaggerations. I think what mikey meant was it feels like the rawness of bands of the 90s are missing now. i turn on the radio and almost want to turn it off again. It feels like music is made today with the sole intent of being a "club banfer" or to get money, versus bands back in the day that wanted to be heard no matter it cost them! Something underground needs to hit big
