With only a bit of effort, I'm back in the summer 1909 ("The Arcadians" opened in April of that year), listening to an excellent band playing selections from my newest favourite musical comedy.

@webrarian I must admit that i prefer Band recordings of almost anything - especially Ragtime, as they have not only a Period feel but a real appreciation of tempo not usually found on thinly recorded string orchestras
