there was a sink hole in my neighbor's yard when i was a kid that was insane they woke up in the morning , and they're big tree wasn't there anymore it got sucked into a massive hole ..very deep hole .. you never know what ur stepping on . nature is a mistery even tho for my neighbor the mistery's been solved ..

Skybirdbird: Well what I learned from the local news last night, there is an historian alerting people about this sinkholes, he said, that the government between the 60's and the 70's, planned to create water plants and dig various wells throughout the city, later, when the internal civil war started, and a new government was in charge of such projects, but they only covered the wells with concrete, and forgot about it. that's the reason why this sinkholes are so perfectly made.

building was heavy and its foundation

was weak (the land where the building hold/stand)

the volcano erupted? releasing magmas etc. from underground.

maybe guatemala's city is still a part of volcano's territory..

i dont know if this is a coincidence, but there is
