You're both wrong lol. They were members of the Tyrone/Monaghan Brigade. It is usually referred to as the East Tyrone Brigade because it is in this area that it was most effective. Similarly to the way the "Armagh Brigade" is referred to as the "South Armagh Brigade".
Also parts of Tyrone actually came under Mid-Ulster Command.
there was no such thing as the 'west tyrone brigade' - they fought along with Tyroen-Monaghan brigade commonly known as the East Tyrone Brigade. West Tyrone area would have been Strabane/Castlederg/Omagh areas
Congratulations. this is really made video like so many of the Ogra films you have put up. Excellent on the origins of the struggloe and a beautiful song..
I am English and I don't get why our goverment will not Let Ireland be it's own country, almost a hundred years of fighting, madness, shame on the British goverment! For god's sake let them have there own country back!!!
Excellent video and song, I've never heard it before I know their is one about the three by the Irish Brigade called "ambush at Drumnakilly". I can guess the name of the song but who sings it?
RIP, freedom fighters.
