@trex9100 Tyranids that get lost in the warp can become corrupted and swayed to the side of the dark gods, this doesn't mean that they're allies with the Chaos Space marines, but they're definitely susceptible to chaos attack.

End of the day is people. It states that not one Tau of any caste or anything has EVER fallen for the fruits of Chaos, They have to wink to them. Speculation around Commander Farsight says he wields a daemon blade, which may have it's ties to the Alpha Legion, which could explain one cause of the Farsight Enclaves succession from the Tau Empire, they may not be corruptible to the ways of chaos, but it doesn't mean they can't ally them selves to it. @Vestalle Who knows. At any cost they aren't enfluenced by chaos the same way humans and eldar or anyother race that has psykers. Where their minds can be taken over by deamons and altered by the influence of chaos. In this case their are many different theories on that, its either an eldar artifact or even of c'tan origin. Which seem a shade more likely given the design of the blade itself.
@C0mm1ssar I got a feeling it IS c'tan origin; the Dawn Blade was found on one of the tau's 'artifact worlds', which probably is a Necron tomb world given that it remains uncolonised. Plus, I agree that the blade looks c'tan-y.
They can, they explained it in the old Daemonhunters Codex when they used a Tau army as an example for pawns being possessed and manipulated without them knowing it. In said army it was the Ethereal himself who had been possessed by a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch.

Then the Emperor turned his back on his Sons, and on the Imperium focusing on his own goals. We then became The Sons of Horus, and became a force for Chaos, returning the Imperium to the hands of Freedom. Horus didn't win, nor did he lose. But now the Imperium is even worse, so I continue to fight.

@pantherace1000 Orks pose no threat. They unwittingly follow us. The Necrons cannot deal with the power of the warp. The Tau are pathetic, not too dissimilar to yourself, and will only continue to fuel us.
The future is uncertain, but I don't need to see it to know we are eternal. The warp holds powers you cannot even hope to understand. There are more entities than you have guardsmen, and each time you "kill" one all you do is send it back to the warp. It does not die, waiting for return.

End of the day is people. It states that not one Tau of any caste or anything has EVER fallen for the fruits of Chaos, They have to wink to them. Nurgle could infect them yes, and im sure that would die from plague and disease like anything else organic. but thats not corruption. There not turning into huge hulks rotting and turning on there fellow Tau. The Tau are INCORRUPTIBLE! It even states in many texts on the matter.
Also farsights blade's past is unknown. It could something unknown.

Farsight gets bonuses in close combat, due to RAGE and the only Tau that has ever splintered from the Ethereals. He painted his armor red, for fuck's sake. He's a drop of blood away from putting skulls on everything.
Furthermore, the Tau are not INCORRUPTIBLE! They're just not worth corrupting, since they have such a low warp presence.
They also don't have warp travel for the same reason.
They also have a small population, and are chemically brainwashed by the Ethereals.

oh just a quick note tau can be corrupted by chaos just cos they dont have psykers doesnt mean they are immune just no possessed chaos can still corrupt flesh plus the tau have a flaw remember they do have a blood thirsty side thats why the etherals exist to curb it etc chaos corrupts all just all in different ways... glory to chaos and to the laughter of the dark gods

@fenrisianwolves Not in the cannon lore for 40K so its just speculation. I'm sure that the tau would be just as effected by Nurgle corrution as any other race though so theres something. But khorn, tzeench and slanesh are another story.

Speculation around Commander Farsight says he wields a daemon blade, which may have it's ties to the Alpha Legion, which could explain one cause of the Farsight Enclaves succession from the Tau Empire, they may not be corruptible to the ways of chaos, but it doesn't mean they can't ally them selves to it. @Vestalle Who knows. At any cost they aren't enfluenced by chaos the same way humans and eldar or anyother race that has psykers. Where their minds can be taken over by deamons and altered by the influence of chaos. In this case their are many different theories on that, its either an eldar artifact or even of c'tan origin. Which seem a shade more likely given the design of the blade itself.

@C0mm1ssar I got a feeling it IS c'tan origin; the Dawn Blade was found on one of the tau's 'artifact worlds', which probably is a Necron tomb world given that it remains uncolonised. Plus, I agree that the blade looks c'tan-y.

They can, they explained it in the old Daemonhunters Codex when they used a Tau army as an example for pawns being possessed and manipulated without them knowing it. In said army it was the Ethereal himself who had been possessed by a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch.
