They should have thought that through..i mean at the begining with the mouth needles. Coming from the mouth the range of the atrack was rather small. Using the advantage of 2vs1 sakura could have lept out of range of the needles and throw some explosive tags at sasori.....no need dodging all of them and wasting time.

She is at a caliber as that of a kage. And plus the only reason why sasori died was because thats what he chose,

as chiyo said that sasori saw through her last move and for some reason he just wanted to be caught in it. xD

@TheMarshall92 Well Gaara had Shukaku inside him so at that point I would say that Gaara is stronger than Chiyo, but since Chiyo dies while reserected Gaara. So I would say maybe in her younger days you never know... besides do not forgett that it was her that sealed Shukaku inside Gaara you need to be a powerful shinobi to do that. I personally would say that she is at a level close to Kazekage. Maybe even equal.

That means that sasori would definitely defeat gaara. if we put gaara and sasori in a fight... of course gaara would easily block all of sasoris needles and gaaras attacks would be blocked by sasor'is iron sand. id say it would be a fair fight but eventually gaara would use his sand defense as an offense leaving an opening and inhaling a small bit of sasoris poison bomb can cause him not to mold chakra properly thus causing his downfall.

@marc04usc true, but gaara is a good ninja, u would think that if he used sand as an offense, he would know that an opening could be available to sasori. sasori is a well known ninja and im sure gaara would be extra careful since sasori was known throughout the sand village, unlike deidara which he knew nothing about his abilities. he at least has a mindset of what sasori is capable of. just sayin.
