@shoezomaku For starters, it opens up destroying one of my favorite things in the series: The coralians(sp?) are beings that want to understand humans and to coexist with them. BUT IN THE MOVIE They are evil monsters that want to destroy humanity.

Oh goody, they took something nice and turned it to naruto/bleach/onepiece/dbz level of generic. I blame otaku...With burning, white-hot rage.

@CaptainZETTA Not all Otaku should be blamed. I mean I'm Otaku, and I agree that what they did was unforgivable. It's like smearing crap onto the mona lisa. It's the shonen genre that's at fault.

@fernanj003 Wow, someone who isn't hopeless with genres, that's kinda rare nowadays. Personally though I place anime viewers into two categories: Otaku and Fans. Otaku are things like Weeaboos, fujoshi, etc. Fans are the people who actually enjoy anime for what it is: An entertainment media. Like, the kinds of people who like some things, but won't go berserk when someone doesn't.

(If it isn't apparent, I'm pretty damn cynical on anime fans lol)

@shoezomaku Honestly...Watch it but watch it only once, It's totally rapes the entire Eureka 7 story line but if you take out the whole raping of a great anime the movie isn't half bad, in-fact i preferred some scenes between Eureka + Renton more in the movie.

Basically its a re-write of all 50episodes of Eureka 7 in one Movie (and i really do mean every episode)

@ri1030 Nah man, it's awesome. It's a perfect ending. Nirvash become the cluster and takes the coral and goes into space to find another world while Renton and Eureka gets to continue living on earth. It's an awesome ending. :')

Renton and Eureka are NOT into abandoning their kids, as annoying as they are. It's prolly one of those endings that will be debated for years to come. Like Inception. XD

@SaigoSentinel Wait a minute, you haven't understood yet that when Eureka, Renton and the kids disappeared along with nirvash into the place where Eureka grew her wings, they went down underneeth the scab? And that Earth was underneeth the scab the whole time? That fact becomes totally clear in the end when the scab loosen it's grip from earth and goes into space along with nirvash. It is also explained at some time in the anime how the scab took over earth after the humans abandoned it.

@kimgulle Wait, doesn't the Nirvash (Spoilers by the way!) say that it would take half the life on the planet, both Scub (Not Scab) and human (Implying that the humans would be those already fused with it and possibly those killed during the Scub attack) to attempt to peacefully coexist on planets throughout the universe as well as earth. Bell Forest is still intact and the very last shot of the planet shows large portions of the Scub still on earth (look at the northern pole).

@cpu46 Nirvash says that she'll take the scab with her, along with half of the human population, half of the coralian population, to build another civilization on another planet in hope that one day in the future they could both coexist with eachother. This is because of the fact that the planet, for some reason, could not hold this many individuals which is explained at some point in the series. She gives the task to Renton and Eureka to stay on earth to foster the Coralian/Human relationships.

@SaigoSentinel When I watched it I thought it was kinda obvious that they were on earth but were celebrating something similar to a honeymoon after everything they went through, the marriage symbolism was kinda strong. As for the kids comment well, they are kids and it was the youngest one specifically, I'm sure any child at his age would have said something along those lines if their parent was gone for more than a few days. I'm guessing that it had been somewhere between a week and a month.
