  • AT 2:35 AMAZING!!!!!

  • Great but a little heavy.

  • Protoss mothership inbound!

  • If you would like to see more of this Tricopter, I will be putting some new video of it on my channel ( aceflyernz ) in the next week or two. I got it off the rack the other day and I'm putting bigger motors on it. I also have Quad & Octocopter FPV videos on there as well.

  • small rubber bands holding that expensive go pro

  • Iff pii vii, kiwiii kiwiii

E is e and not i you little fruits

  • SO THATS THE FLYING SAUCER THAT I SAW

  • if ur screen has an av out perhaps u could consider wearing a screen headset, e.g. like the sony glasstron that way u dont need to worry about glare on the screen plus u can make it semi transparent so u can see thru the screen image thus giving u screen display and real vision. something to consider. :)

  • Your vid was one of the first tricopter vids I watched last year. Probably what made me get into this hobby. Thanks for the motivation.. rc planes and heli's are in the past for me ever since.

    thanks again xjet.

  • @CNChobbycutting Always better the second time - don't you think?

  • Comment removed

  • @CNChobbycutting Cool, an advertisement -- where do I send the invoice ;-)

  • @xjet

just a cutting service.. people find it hard to cut CF and g10 by themselves.. not really selling complete tricopters.. should I take this down then?? dont want to step on toes.. email me lemme know. I'll take it down if so.

  • @CNChobbycutting Nah... I don't mind -- go for it. People can ignore it if they want and someone might find the info useful. I'm not a grouch :-)

  • you need goggles

  • wow, well done, excellent work guys, im lovin' the birdsong in background too ;-j

  • WOOOW very nice work, congratulations, where i can know how giros work in your model?

    mexico..

  • Hey, where do you buy the video receiver and transmitter?

  • Looks like it might be a fun project for a microlight aircraft big enough to let a human enjoy it but small enough not to be noticed by the FAA. Three engines on 5 gallons of gas... it might not go very far, but it will be fun.

  • @chaosopher23 Not possible to autorotate. If just ONE of the engines fails, you die. So take MTBF for the powerplant you want to use, multiply by 3 because there are 3 of them and THAT is your chance of an engine-out situation.

  • SO why should you not fly it? It looks as if you are doing quite well. I purchased one fo these. I got the 6061 model from fpvpilot.com. I like it and I am quite familiar with FPV although I have not used fpv with this one yet. LIke the vid. Thanks for posting.

  • fantastic

  • why didnt you opened the plastic of the speedcontrollers? its allways the same problem of the producers, they glued the electronic in this fuc.. plastik. open that so the heat can go out. thats the insurance for your model my friend.

  • @ONPRIEL I agree that it may help a bit, but if a controller is properly chosen, i.e. not running to the maximum current all the time, the plastic wrap doesn't matter. And since the price of ESCs grows slowly with increasing current, why not just buy a 30A ESC instead of those 18A and everything will be fine ever since.

  • "and the plans are available on the internet." where??? you got the adress? please post it. thx a lot.

  • @ONPRIEL There is a very comprehensive thread in the forums at RCGroups

  • @xjet I used to have an F-15 rc Jet (That i flew with my Dad) at the Philippines and someone from Tanza (The place where i live) Had a Gun and shot the Turbines and Exploded in Mid-Air (that Culprit will pay!...)

  • @ONPRIEL Look up "KKmulticopter". It's capable of all kinds of configurations from dual rotor to a hexacopter.

Controllers are on ebay for $60-$90, and the frame can be either be made cheaply with wooden sticks or you could go high tech and buy pre-fabricated ones.

  • He starts at 2:45

  • you got a plan of that or some information how i can build this interesting object ?

a pdf or text-file would suffice. thanks a lot if you can do it.

    bill

  • geg

  • Hahaha, no, it's a GoPro HD. I saw it in the commercial at the right,.

  • Why should this not fly? And is this really a GoPro HD? It think a GoPro HD is smaller.

  • can you tell any specs of this trikopter? weight, engines, gyros etc... :)

  • How much was the FPV gear xjet?

  • thank you for the demonstration! I really like unique stuff! also see my flying man vids at BORNTAFLY on youtube

  • It flies great!

  • Done well

  • Nice and stable. What is AUW?

  • Comment removed

  • @melas @melas It's the total flying weight of the model with everything included like electronics, payload, fuel and or batteries. So basically the weight when it's (still) able to fly. It stands for All Up Weight, hence the AUW abbreviation.

  • @PHeMoX OK,so what is your tricopters AUW? 1kg, 1.5 kg?

  • @melas A little under 1 kg actually, but so far it's not loaded with any FPV or camera gear and it's a bit underpowered. I'm seriously thinking about abandoning the project in favor of a flying wing FPV project and use the gear from the tricopter.

By the way if you do a search on Google with 'tricopter AUW', you'll find a small but interesting rcgroups thread on the various weights and setups. Cheers!

  • built this with plans of the intah net!

  • its witch craft i tell you! WITCH CRAFT!!!!

  • Is one of the battteries for videotransmitter only??

    Cheers,

    /Z

  • niceee, if your speed controllers are getting hot in flight my dont you move them so there under the propeller's down daft ? they seem quite close to the main body rather that the prop, it would keep them pretty cool if you did so.

  • @TeenFlyer95 you could also use higher rated esc's than your motors max amp draw and put them wherever you like bruv cause they would then run ice cold :) i.e 30a esc for motor that pulls 25a with an 11 47 prop then run the motor on 10 47 prop and eveything comes down cold after each lipo :)

  • the ipad make a drone like these

  • and how long does the batteries last?

  • @ideeman1994 About 15 minutes.

  • Great looking tri heli and even equipped for FPV

  • Impressive, it seems to have great lift, and quite stable too! How does it feel to fly compared to a single rotor heli?

  • @afslayer Apparently it's about the same as one of those coaxial helicopters -- pretty easy.

  • nice fpv is not simple only the eagle tree unit is hard to setup with the sensors

pole's of the motor enz enz

    nice work great vid

  • get some variable pitch props on that and itll make the most epic 3d machine.

  • All that fancy equipment on your tri and no goggles. Tisk, priorities. ;) Cool machine though!

  • niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 100%

    I like your setup

  • Manual camera

  • is that tricopter made by you ??? how you did that ???

is there any gyros???? or just use the servos to controll???

  • @thypegasus It's one made from the information published in a thread on RC Groups and made by a friend of mine. There are four cheap gyros in total and just one servo (for the yaw control). Easy to build, easy to fly -- and not very expensive either.

  • @xjet Which thread?

  • @xjet

is there any way you can get that thread for me ?? sorry if i am disturbing......

it will be great if you can get that one.,, if its ok for you .. thank you

  • @thypegasus i believe walkera makes one called the ufo 4 or 5 that has no gyros. the only moving parts are the 3 rotors. and you can buy it as a rtr kit.

  • @scbjgs Of course it has gyros, but they are there as electronic components on a circuit board that does it all.

  • @ZdenekJindra welll i only knew that from a video i watched on it. a review or something and he said "no gyros"
