whats the difference with worms armageddon? and you used fraps? i understead Worms armageddon saves all your matches as WAgame file for playback.

did you used fraps during the game or during playback?

It's minor actually. The different between WWP and WA is very minor. Though the under the hood stuff is somewhat different.

When I go to use wormnet on WWP, I get past the part where you select a server and put in a user name or password - then nothing happens.

It just goes to a blue rectangle with clouds going past in the background. It doesn't freeze, the mouse still responds but nothing happens.

I've tried the 'Service Pack 1' from the Team17 site, no joy.

Any Ideas?

You don't need a patch to go online, you may need one patch to start the game up at all, but there is no patch that does anything to "wormnet"

for the record, I have that first patch mentioned, I need it to start the game.

yeah, nobody really gets on anymore, some people get on, but most can't host games so yeah... (it is technicly a HELL old game, I had this back in the days of windows 95.....)

you must not have the cpu power or something. i have a very powerful pc so it can keep the fps going at the same time its recording it.

Heres a secret. When using the emulator, if you want to capture sound perfect, the wait for exactly 1 minute of recording, and then pause the emulation, and then click on stop recording, and then click on record again, but name it somthing else. Then, use a movie thing to put together the movies without any frame skip, or sound errors.

the worms WP community is dead?! but this is the best worms ever made (even tops Armageddon with the few extra features)! WHY?! I got service pack 2 on my laptop so I can't play it. Damn, I've been wanting to play it so badly. This summer I'll go home to my old PC. Then maybe we can play online :).

yes, its a live server. actually its a online game by Mgame, but its dead in november last year
