@GhostSoldierful Nope, only stupid players that don't learn how to use AI or run servers properly. This is the only game out there that offers actual AI, they think for themselves, COD etc just uses a series of scripts, no actual AI. Place a COD soldier in an ArmA 2 map and he'd just sit under a tree and hug his knees, sobbing quietly while rocking back and forth. This has (when set up correctly) the most advanced and challenging AI out there.

Tried to command a T-55. met an enemy tank. The gunner, instead of pointing the gun at the target, pointing it 180 degrees away. and the drivers, instead of keep moving, stopped. I have to take the manual control of the gun myself to deal with the enemy. once i've finished the enemy tank, i ordered both my crewmens out of the tank and executed them on the spot for trying to get me killed.

@phadil Then learn how to control the AI, it's not that hard. You do realise that you are supposed to assign targets to your gunner? They have very low situational awareness IRL. Likewise for issuing orders to the driver. Better still, get with the program and play the game as it is supposed to be, with a team of trained individuals. If you aren't going to be proactive about joining an online squad (which, as a milsim, is what the game is designed for) then don't complain.

naja, das spielen als infrantrie find ich is schlecht gemacht. besser wäre es wenn es wäre wie cod oder battlefield. einfach laufen und dabei schießen können. auch die waffensounds sind net so.... was dafür spaß macht is mit dem panzer fahren xD

die schlachten mit Vehiclen (panzer, Flugzeuge usw.) machen dafür sehr viel fun

@KingKong94 ich mein halt wenn ich infrantrie bin und ich lauf wo hin und da liegt plötzlich son typ haste nich wirklich die zeit stehen zu bleiben und dann zu schiessen. und waffensounds sollten dringend gemodded werden weil die nich wirklich toll klingen. was mir persönlich gefällt sind die zerstörbaren gebäude. panzer in die stadt und nach der schlacht die stadt anschauen was alles putt ist. hab leider im moment nur die demo. bekomm aber noch arma 2 combinded ops.

@MegaGTAzocker Im echten leben kannste ja auch nicht sofort reagieren wenn du nen feind siehst. Du musst mit shift langsam gehen um schnell reagirien zu können wie im reallife halt ;D

@KingKong948 naja, ich weis nich wie schwer die echten waffen sind. ich hab auch nur so schaumstoff waffen (nerf) und ich denk man kann da schon rennen und ballern. aber wie gesagt is nur kunststoff.... es ist halt etwas ungewohnt. merk ich in cod auch dass die leute nich besonders blitzartig reagieren können.

und eben weil es ist wie im reallife (große map, zerstörbare gebäude) mögen es ja viele :-) mal was anderes. schade das ich im moment nur die demo vom game hab da gibts fast nix xD

Well guys just btw the developers of this game is from Czech Republic. And the reason its always "Chinese-Russians- Middel east terroirst's" is because they are the only ones that can match up to the US millitary. Most other countries will be assraped in RL if they attacked US. This matters war games ofc. And most games you can play both sides in multiplayer. But the story well often US...

@isfwarchief Again, incorrect. The Russian army is incredibly capable, and far better suited (through their doctrine) to the general task of destruction than the US Army. Try playing as mechanised infantry, the US has nothing that can stand up to their APCs such as the BMP-3 and the BTR-90, those things are seriously nasty.

The Ai in ARMA II is the only Ai in the world that can think for it self and cominicate with hundreds of other Ai on a massive enviroment so the Ai is 10/10. The AI aint perfect but its 10 years in the making. ARMA I has a military simulator based on it called VBS 2 thats used by the military of many countries.
