  • of all the presidents, he was assassinated...he had amazing potential, and look at the presidents that lived....just fyi i havent got a plan of doing anything but George W. Bush should have had something done to him....gave the world hell, look at 9/11, fuck you USA government you are the people we should be hating

  • keep your eye on that driver. good copies of that film out there. interesting. the best song on dare. amazing how strange the first records were. some one gave me their copy of travelogue in the early 80's. still listen to it now and then.reproduction and travelogue sound completely foreign. kind of isolated sounding also.

  • er magnetic u are a prick

  • Excellent job!

  • porcaria de comercial, ate aqui!!!!

  • I find it hard to sympathize with a country who have historically interfered with numerous countries and killed millions in truly awful ways. How can the killing of millions of innocent people be justified in the ways people have attempted to Justify it. I will always be repelled and infuriated by the politics of America, which fails to even help it's own citizens yet puts billions upon billions of dollars into attempting to help other countries. Countries which it then effectively destroys.

  • @magnetic0314 you are clearly a muslim terrorist

  • @DLTrally Indeed I am.

  • RIP John F Kennedy.

  • good track,masterful i its content.UP THE BORO

  • I was there, a 7th grader, that sucked, I remembe so vividly, god help us all.

  • @rawcoyote your full ov shite

  • She had a great ass!

  • Thank the Federal Reserve Bankers for changing the world forever. Kennedy Executive Order 11110.

  • Love you, Bill Hicks.

  • It beggars belief how brilliant Dare was and still is. Each song on the album is excellent.

  • wow im in shock cuts my heart and it is us history on film

  • Cant believe how Jackie would have have felt. By far best best human league song ever. xx

  • How good is this....watched them at the Rewind festival on Sunday....class act...even after all these years....

  • Murdered, but not by Oswald. The day the Dallas police took a holiday. Oh yes, now who does that when the President is coming to town. Conspiracy but it's not a theory. R.I P. Mr President.

  • @ambertjeblue JFK was shot by three, possibly four people, two of them were top notch shooters.who were themselves all eliminated.

  • This song and The Lebanon are my favorites.

  • man i love this track AND the whole album to be honest...

  • most of the time when musicians try to make a statement about a world event, it comes out cheesey and you think they are trying to capitaize on peoples emotions.

Not the case with this one!!!

  • @JDEIN699 .....so true. you hit it right on the head. frankly some of those songs you mentioned where artists try too hard to write about an event are flat-out embarassing and corny it's hard to listen to....not in this case. I'll admit I had no idea until seeing this video that the song was actually about JFK's assasination, but the song fits like a glove in this case. I could always feel the emotion in this song, but having this connection just brought tears to my eyes....

  • I had no idea this song and this event was ...WOW

  • It took seconds of my time to realise that this is the best Human League song I've ever heard......

  • One of the 45's I wore out as a pre-teen. Great song. Only recently figured out what it was about.

  • awww great memories great band!!!

  • that was a big hit........

  • Horrific ! It's just as well that you don't know what fate has in store for you each day when you get up

  • THE HUMAN LEAGUE - SHOWING THE BRUTAL FACTS OF THE MAFIA AROUND US !

  • HUMAN LEAGUE IN HIS BEST FORMATION....BEST TRACK OF HUMAN LEAGUE FFER....AND YOUR BACK IN THE ROOM!

  • klasse nummer

  • FYI: JFK is shot roughly at second 311.

  • Actually it's more like 317. Ha, 317, just like St. Patrick's Day. Is that irony or what?

  • Jackie was so dignified at the funeral. I remember this from 1963. It cuts me up to watch this and the music is potent and a perfect match.

  • @pauline5248 And you know what breaks my heart even more, it's when I see little John John standing there by his father's grave and then I remember how his own life was so damnably and tragically cut short. Honestly, the Greeks never wrote a tragedy so sad. You couldn't make it up:(

  • A well assembled video with powerful music behind it. Inspired thinking by the "Human League" to write in 1981 of something which happened in 1963. Dramatic images and music, and so, so sad.

  • @pauline5248 - this song wasn't inspired by the assinnation of JFK but to a murder that happened in New York in December 1980. I'll leave you to work out who the victim was.

  • @mlovet100 That actually makes a lot of sense. It would have been front and center in many people's mind's at this point in time. I know it was in mine. I can remember where I was when I learned of John's murder. I can also remember the sickness I felt in my stomach and my heart.

  • @mlovet100 No that no account Lennon. Shirley not?

  • Comment removed

  • I first heard this song in 2008 when the league were touring and it sent shivers down my spine!

  • @electronicsynthbus It does that to me too.

  • 2011.........re master and release....please.

  • zapkvr - no - I have listened to this album more than a thousand times for 30 years and I would agree!!

  • chooooon

  • Was it written about JFK

  • you can see kennedys brains spew

  • RIP

  • RIP Martin...

  • @Zapkvr..yeah I'd have to agree it was an amazing track, arguably the best in an album packed with incredible material. Shame the post here slices the last couple of seconds off the track.

  • this is not official

  • @taffyvw

no is not ! j.k have nothing to do with this song

  • agree. best track by a country mile. but, JFK?. serial adulterer, daddy buys him the white house. no interest in politics, just the fame and the power.. and a non mason to boot. catholic even. didn't stand a chance

  • @44shug I never said he was the best President. That honor belongs to FDR with Jefferson running a close second. Jacqueline was the finest first lady the U.S. could wish for. She had grace up to ying yang.

  • @44shug He sure gave a sweet speech warning of the dangers of secret societies.

  • @Dehzee Yeah like all those nasty Jaycees. And Catholics.

  • Nobody in America is untouchable, not even a president.

  • @MegaAtlantean What are you trying to say? I mean does Ubama need to be worried about you?

  • WTF

  • what ya must understand is that the force of the explosion of kennedy's head is what forced him back. it;s impossible that his head would be blown in too and BOTH pieces will go forward. just look at newton's third law. having said all that, im really starting to like this album

  • seconds.........loose ur trolley and get of the bully....

  • Democrats used to at least support diplomatic solutions, even if they only ever attempted military solutions.

Fast forward to present day, where H. Clinton uses diplomatic solutions as a cover for attacks.

She declared the USA to not have the authority to establish a no-fly zone over Libya. That fooled a lot of people including me into thinking the USA would not attack straight away.

  • But it was all to push the UN into making a no-fly zone, and once that was in place, the USA used this mostly diplomatic solution as an excuse for attacks, and began bombings.

If the USA did not have authority to make a no-fly zone, where did the authority to bomb come from?

  • "what if Jackie O had him shot"

...And then crawled over the back of the car to try to pick part of his head up so the surgeons could sew it back on?

  • Comment removed

  • @smithdvr On the other hand, a single gunman actually making the shot, and other gunmen waiting further up the road to make the shot if the 1st does not, are not mutually exclusive.

The CIA always has a backup plan.

For example as they did in 1953 when they overthrew Mossadeq in Iran and installed the ex-Nazi General Zahedi, but kept Gladio-like stay-behind groups in reserve in case the Communists took power instead -Wikipedia and webcitation. org / 5hOKkVZFE

  • @smithdvr We are all familiar with the force that a bullet applies to a body, both pushing back, & the bullet pushing tissue before it, to spray outward at the back

The 2 are in opposite directions here. But where falling can be explained by involuntary muscular spasms, the motion of the car, driver gunning the car, etc, what explains the spray forward?

  • @smithdvr You used to be in the military? Thank christ you aren't any longer. I hope the bar has been raised since you were there.

  • fantastic song and video

  • Love this track not heard it in years!

  • 8 people think rebecca black is cutting edge

  • This is the second song today that I learned was about the death of John F. Kennedy :(

  • @designerxvoodoo

    the SECOND?!

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!

  • Brilliant song....tragic day

  • i think the video is awful, coz its so stunningly visual about the death of a good man!!...but its the song that matters,a great track one of there best, just a shame the vid is so disturbing!!

  • It changed the world for good!!!!!!!

  • I'm gonna get beaten up for this but I still think this was the best song on the album. I like every track but this is the best by a long long long way Oh and Jacqueline was the finets first lady who ever lived.

  • @zapkvr It does not get better than this song. I love all their stuff on this album, but this tune is heads and shoulders about the others.

  • @zapkvr Are you kiddin me? Of course it is the best song on the album. The most enduring by a long long way!

  • @zapkvr : not beaten up ... respected, because it you´re right :D That´s it !!!

  • I knew of the Human League 30+ years ago. I would agree, when I heard this album, this song stood out. It's significance goes without saying. Hard to watch the footage. I cringed at the obvious spots.

  • @zapkvr It IS the best song on the album. But it's a remarkable album overall.

  • @zapkvr wise man

  • @zapkvr I agree.

  • @zapkvr couldnt agree more top tune !

  • @zapkvr You are correct dare was an outstanding 80's album and this track is brilliance fantastic lyrics!!!

  • I'm gonna get beaten up for this but I still think this was the best song on the album. I like every track but this is the best by a long long long way

  • Did his whole head come off and fall into the back seat?

  • @slicknicknirvana

"...Say what you just posted to an American's face and see if you don't get your ass beat."

    This proves your point how...?

  • Anyone know who made this video?

  • @daniellong01 jfk live

  • @daniellong01 jfk

  • Beautiful, heart-wrenching song. Beautiful heart-wrenching video. Thank you.

  • Reject your ego! Let go, and give, and love. Those who control can only do so by our consent! Stand up and say no!

  • very dark day in American history.....but what a tremendous song!

  • I absolutely love this track. I just danced with this on super loud whilst I mashed the potatoes. Rock on!

  • This is an awesome song - one of The League's best

  • OMG that poor lady..she saw her husband head explode. Also the evil b*srds who killed John Kennedy...it wasnt just that lil fag oswild. Imagine how greater USA and maybe the world woulda been with JFK and his murdered bro Bobby still alive to change the USA an stop CIA and FBI closet case Hoover making the nation so right wing they kill their leaders if they dont agree with their politics.

The USA , ha thinks its so free and democratic...yet if they dont like the president ..BOOM hes dead so SAD

  • @XxpauldadudexX But she did which just shows the strength of her character.

  • @westpenninewoman I know...my Gran died 10 days ago....suddenly...and it hurts . But she was so strong , saw so much tragedy and my ma also....I KNOW women r stronger than men emotionally....ppl say the opposite but it aint true. It's always our mothers we go running to , and my Gran , when we're upset or whatever.

Thats why I love my ma...and my dad ...I know I sound like a whiny lil kid but WTF what ppl say..and John Kennedys wife saw crappy stuff and I guess she carried on for the kids sake.

  • @westpenninewoman Sorry for your loss. But it sounds as if you have a lot of happy memories of your Gran to help carry you through it all.

  • I have always loved this song--so haunting and dark...i never knew it was about the Kennedy assassination. The footage is unbelievable. I can't believe Jackie could ever recover from this...

  • Incredible historic footage. Poor Jackie. How would you ever recover mentally from seeing your husband shot dead next to you? She showed incredible dignity and courage in the aftermath of it all even though she must have been in deep shock.

  • brilliant.

  • i love the human league...... but this is the only song that i do not like by them, but i am a fan of all there other music!

  • Golfls thevoid you are a person of wisdom, you have my respect

  • JFK was not a perfect human being (who is?) but he instilled in many a glimpse of hope and possibilities, which we were in need of then.So did his brother Bobby and Dr.King.But there's always others who feel superior or less or threatened or who disagree with new ideas or change who choose to take horrific actions for self-justified reasons.Whether it was Oswald or a conspiracy we'll never really know and we have to deal with what is instead of what ifs and not lose our hope or our possibilities.

  • @GolfIsTheVoid:Certainly some guys in the Kennedy administration drove him into the conflicts with Cuba (+Castro right into the arms of the Sovjets...LOL),probably a leading figure was McNamara.+the Kennedy administration also paved the(very silly)way for the catastrophe of the Vietnam war.Kennedy´s points are on the side of what he did for the civil rights in the States...but that´s not enough.+i guess the NASA program would have also happened without him.Irish-stubborn (like Reagan!)

  • @GolfIsTheVoid:If you really want to know what was ALL behind the Kennedy assault-watch the German TV movie production"Dear Fidel"with Marita Lorenz.(former Castro maitresse)who worked later for criminal exiled Cubans in the States throughout the 60s(a revenge because Castro-so he said-had forced her into abortion in Cuba)

When she realized what she´d gotten into during 70s she gave evidence for the background of the Kennedy assault in congress-result was bullets flying around her ears in NYC !

  • @GolfIsTheVoid:

It WAS a conspiracy of exiled Cubans who were furious at Kennedy´s because the Cuban invasion (which was obstructed on him because exiled Cubans and the Meyer-Lansky mafia were still drawing their strings...) had ridiculously failed - watch the German TV movie production with German-born Marita Lorenz !

She even names the man behind all this, she says a name: Frank Sturgess.

Fascinating and very very credible production and she really can be very glad that she is still alive !

  • i shot the president

  • BULLSEYE

  • sickening

  • Damn...what could have been.

  • I cry when I watch this....as i did in 1981. It really could have been a lot different.

  • i love this song it makes you stop and think phill oakey has got a good voice they played this live in hailifax on tuesday the 30th november 2010

  • Sorry! I selected "dislike" by mistake. First heard this on a mix tape of a mates on the way up to Whistler in Canada. Awesome song; great memories.

  • what if Jackie O had him shot for the affair wth Marilyn? I bet nobody thought of that one.

  • @TheOldEchoes Boom Boom comes Nov. 22 :)

  • @Animateme3D Really? Well, well....

  • I WAS AMAZED HOW CLOSE TO THE STUDIO SOUND PLAYING THIS LIVE ON STAGE.

  • All day hiding from the sun! The Human League reappears with a new song called Night People. For those who want to stay out of the sun! ;-)

  • @Animateme3D Boom Boom.

  • See how he was shot in the kneck first and then jackies like WTF!!! and then she leans over to him concerned and then "smack" into his head... Go look at the zapruder film

  • Poor Kenedy, so much power, if only he was steet wise.

  • @garthspencer Steet? Too cool for school?

  • I always skip Frame 313. It's too upsetting for me.

  • Why werent the two Secret Service agents not standing on the backboards on the back of the car where they were suppose to be? I'll tell you why they were called off by the head SS guy, you can see the guy in one official video putting his arms up like" why the hell are you calling me off the backbvoard' NWO elite scum bags killed him because he was going to abolish the Federal Reserve and the CIA and the devils couldn't have that, so they did what devils do!

  • you cant begin to imagine what jackie was thinking when her husbands head blew apart like that.i bet it was the last thing that went through her head before she slept on a night.

  • amazing track goose pimples all over

  • Was this song really related to the Kennedy assassination? Wow. I never realized.

  • There best song by far.

  • Thank you for posting this. I live in Texas now....and nobody here knows anything about this song (the cowboys wouldn't even listen to it)...but this is truly beautiful.

  • @swalk813 agree wirth you, many folks from other parts of theglobe say succunct things on "our" agonies better than we ever could, this is a truly great song. dave u.k.

  • John F. Kennedy +1963, Robert F. Kennedy +1968,

Lech Kaczyński (and 95 Polish Heroes) +2010, his twin brother Jarosław still alive

I love Poland and J. Kaczyński...

  • Cant get this song out of my head.... what memories.. I always thought this was their most emotional and touching song....

  • and i get so stuck looking the wife of the president was so in hurry for reaching the pieces of brain exploded out..

  • I was 7 years old when this happened. This video has brought back some sad memories. An incredible song by an amazing band. Thats all it took. Seconds. The end, to what i believe, would have been an incredible life. We never got to see the real JFK. God will always watch over this beautiful man.

  • Great song from a great group! I just can't watch the video because it's so depressing!!! So sad! I'm 40 years old now, and I can't believe I was only 11 years old when this song was released!!!

  • This video and song made me cry.

  • It took seconds of your time to take his life!

  • incredible that there are people that just shoot other people in heads are other terrible stuff. People are the worst animals on earth i think and hopegfully for the earth we disappaer after a nature disaster in the future, so other animals can live peacefully :)

  • Look at that prick LBJ sitting there like, just wait Kennedy just you wait me and my little minions are going to take care of you, for now I 'll clap and smile, for now!

  • How Jackie looks at the funeral...boy, she was a brave woman...

  • This is what happens when a President thinks he's really in charge of the USA. Try to free America from the evil known as the Federal Reserve and you will die. Thanks for trying John F. Kennedy. I can only pray that Americans will eventually wake up to the truth of our "great country" Freedom, ha. More like freedumb.

  • @HIPandiDONTmeanHOP Well said!

  • @HIPandiDONTmeanHOP thats right. We may never wake up from Freedumb. (I'm American by the way)

  • @dsim200000

    I love american girls.American men are...too insecure:)

  • @SuperVerm1n let's trade

  • @SuperVerm1n: That´s why the States are on the verge of utter ruin now - because American heterosexual bastards have the devil in person in bed at night...who constantly whispers that she wants more and more and more.....

  • @HIPandiDONTmeanHOP: David Byrne in "The Big Country" - second Talking Heads album: "I wouldn´t live there if you paid me to".

  • Tragic ???

This was a calculated drama - shot in scene in Dallas (i always hated the soap opera Dallas).

"The drama should be forbidden and its originators should be whipped severely"...... (PLATON)

  • @HIPandiDONTmeanHOP so true i believe they show this video to each new president--sad but true---can only pray we americans wake up.....

  • @HIPandiDONTmeanHOP Since Kennedy is dead the US has been taking over by greedy bankers and Freemasons. I hope you guys wake up very quick. The dollar is already dying...

  • I love JFK!!!

  • Wow, never saw the video to this song... Makes sense now.... Ultimate fave track!!!!

  • Still amazing...

  • It's so good to listen Human League again :o))))

  • To me, the best Human League song ever... I've been listening to it regularly since the realease of the DARE! album, when I was ten years old... This song made me go crazy ! That album was one of the most important gifts I reveived, it lead me to electronic music...

  • Actually heard this the first time at a college bar on a jukebox....a long time ago. Walked all the way across the bar just to see who sang it. Bought the record the next day...

  • Superb video, very well made!

  • FUCKING GREAT!

  • Love and dancing, one of the best 80's albumns ever, get it listen to in quiet room !
