Either Buffalo or Montreal should be considered as the new "Hockey Town" of the NHL. The Detroit area has lost the passion, as a community, for hockey. I'm not refering to the Redwings, but the love of the support. Hockey is a MAJOR part of western New York's culture. The passion, love for the game is immeasureable for kids, adults and even the elderly. Same goes for Montreal. This should play a major part in determining what team/city is crowned "The Hockey Town."
