OMG, TONY BURROWS IS STILL VERY HOT INDEED, I ALWAYS LOVED HIS VOICE ON THIS CLASSIC AND THE WAY IT BLENDS IN WITH THE OTHER GUYS, I LOVE HIS HIGH VOICE ON THIS SONG, TERRIFIC SONG AND BOY THAT TONY IS SUCH A CUTIE. LOL XX
Super - die Jungs bringen es immer noch voll! Wie hat mir dieser Song 1967 in meiner Lehre so über manche Krise und Seelenschmetter hinausgeholfen!!!!
Yeh, Robin Shaw (on bass & vocals) does bear a striking resemblance to Keith Chegwin, and Robin Box (guitar, far left) looks a bit like Dave Lee Travis. And is that Roger Hills on drums? To complete the White Plains set-up referred to by 'saveyourkisses4me' note the photo of said band overhead.
They're surely not miming are they.... wow, I'd never have worked that one out....But seriously folks, the record has to be one of the all time greats even if was a commercial cashing-in on the Hippie movement. This is pop music of the highest order. The song is sublime, the recording a work of supreme quality. You can get as good but not better than this.
This video deoesnt make sense. I assume someone has put a new soundtrack on the clip. I say this as even if they were miming to a record in the studio it doesnt tie up at all to the soundtrack. The only thing that may be genuine is clapping at the end but otherwise the audiohas been dubbed and is not the broadcast recording other than the image
These German music programmes are a complete joke. There's another one on youtube of a much older Barry Ryan performing 'Eloise' exactly like the original. It's either a complete comedy or the TV stations consider German people stupid and retarded.
video quality is awful.. cant watch it

Great to see Tony Burrows, along with Robin Box and Robin Shaw. This set-up is more like White Plains, than Flowerpot Men? John

An amazing song, one of the best vocal harmonies of all time, but sad that they are miming to the origional

the second best song about san francisco during this era.
but what i love most aboiut this song is the flute refrain before they first start to sing, i think it's only in the 6 minute album version.
