Whats the principle behind DC training, apart from huge weights? Looks like he,s focusing on the negative portion of the rep rather than just letting it drop.
Focusing on the negative is one of the strong principles behind DC training. Rest/Pause techniques are also used, as well as an upper/lower body split. You can read about it on the DOGG Pound forums on IntenseMuscle(dot)com
no thats the wya you should do the lift anyways the way its done is a like a 8 rep max weight 15 seconds and lift as much as can again and weight another 15 then lift as much again the only exercises you dont do this for is squats and the deadlift you do like a 8 to 10 rep max then do a 20 rep widow maker after a 1 to 3 minute rest
DC training it the new shit!!! iv gotten so much stronger than i ever have bin....my weight goes up 5 pounds with sometimes an extra rep every week....im so impressed with the techniques
MOTHERFUCKER!!! They should put this guy on animal planet. Who is this guy? And why is he not world's strongest man yet. And he looks young younger than Kevin Knee.
His name is Jason Wojciechowski (Wojo for short) and he's 32 or 33 (he does look young though). i believe that he and many other BBs would destroy many WSM competitors but that's not their focus, looking pretty on stage is. Ferrigno, Colombu and others were BBs first and went on to WSM success, and Sven Karlsen and the late great Jon Pall Sigmarrsson were all BBs. I hope to see them in WSM soon.
Correct..I was just nit-picking. Im not sure how he went in WSM though. Wasn,t Colombu the one carrying that thing that looked like a fridge on his back when his knee suddenly cloapsed?...sideways mind you!
DC FTW

Colombu was a powerlifter first
9fifty5 4 years ago
Well if you want to get technical, he was a boxer first. But what I meant was that he did BB before WSM, I mean all in all, he was BORN first.
