It took him 1-2 hours to MAKE, not to RENDER. He asked how long it took to MAKE avatar, not RENDER. All the animating took a little longer than 3 months, especially if you count everything that was been done simultaniously apart.

This is just AWESOME. I see those really crappy first person shooters with really bad reloading animations... i wish it were something more like this. Seriously, they should hire better animators. Even youtubers and beginning graphics animators could do a better job.

You tube somehow cutoff around 5 frames of the animation during the end. There should have been a little bounce there.

Make the scenes frames be about 10-15 frames more than the actual animation itself so when Youtube cuts off part of the video, the animation remains fully intact.
