Well it's been a month, but another thing you can do is put a compressor on it, with a 1:1 ratio, not changing the dynamic range at all, and a make-up gain of 6 to 9 db. Then set a limiter at -0.1dbfs to prevent clipping.
@martineztech Hello. Thanks for the tip. I actually thought about normalizing this, but I like the "live quality" that this mix (which I didn't do) has. Also, normalizing would decrease the dynamic range, which is why all classical music is at a much lower level than its pop analogue. Cheers!

Try normalizing the volume before syncing it to video. Extremely low level. You want it to be about -1 to -2 dBFS
